THE PERFORMER S, TEATRO EDUCATIVO EN INGLÉS
La compañía de teatro educativo en inglés The Performers, representada en Chile por Books
and Bits, se presenta en Chile por décimo tercer año consecutivo entre el 26 de Septiembre y
el 07 de Octubre 2016, en las ciudades de Concepción, Viña del Mar y Santiago.

teatro educativo en inglés cuyo objetivo principal es buscar innovadoras formas de potenciar
el aprendizaje del idioma en los alumnos de manera dinámica y entretenida, otorgando a los
profesores nuevas herramientas para la enseñanza y llevando el arte al entorno educacional.

CLOCKS
Young Learners - Age: 3+
Plot
Every day, Alan, the alarm clock, wakes up his friends the wall clock, the cuckoo clock and the
cuckoo bird to have breakfast. Then they start fixing broken clocks and watches. One day a
strange visitor comes to the clockmaker´s shop: Smarty, a smart watch. Instead of welcoming
her, the friends act like horrible bullies. Later on they will realise that it is better to work
together as a team.
Moral Values
This educational play reinforces the moral values of cooperation, friendship and respect, whilst
rejecting sexism and bullying.

The play is suitable for students whose level of English is equivalent to A1 on the Common
European Framework of Reference for Languages and for those who will sit for the following
International Exams:

PIRATES
Pre-intermediate to Intermediate Students – Age: 9+
Plot
A group of pirates arrive on an island in search of treasure. Jesse owns a map that will lead
them to the loot. However, the Captain and Jesse are betrayed by Pepper, the parrot, who
persuades other pirates to steal the map for him. Come and join the pirates on their
adventure!
Moral Values
This educational play reinforces de moral values of loyalty, love and truthfulness, whilst also
promoting teamwork.

The play is suitable for students whose level of English is equivalent to A2 - B1 on the Common
European Framework of Reference for Languages and for those who will sit for the following
International Exams:

KING LEAR
Upper Intermediate to Advanced Students – Age: 15+
Plot
An old King, worn out with age and the responsibilities of governing, decides to divide his
kingdom between his three daughters according to the amount of affection they show him.
However, he soon has reason to regret his decision. This modern version of the famous
Shakespearean play demonstrates how a seemingly all-powerful king can be driven to the
depths of madness.
Moral Values
This educational play reinforces the moral values of justice and truth, whilst promoting love
and respect for one's elders.

The play is suitable for students whose level of English is equivalent to B2-C1 on the Common
European Framework of Reference for Languages and for those who will sit for the following
International Exams:

Public Show – Presentaciones En Teatros:
Presentación en un teatro, donde el establecimiento reserva el número de butacas, realiza el
pago anticipado al show y los alumnos asisten con sus profesores.
Valores
Estudiantes: $6.000 p/p. Para confirmar la reserva, se reciben pagos hasta el 12 de Agosto 2016.
Profesores: Puede asistir 1 profesor gratis cada 10 alumnos, los profesores extras cancelan un
valor preferencial de $3.000.

Private Show – Presentaciones Exclusivas (sólo disponible en RM y Región de Bío Bío):
Presentación privada, donde se contratan funciones que son realizadas en su colegio o
universidad, y en un solo día. El valor es por función, indiferente del número de estudiantes
que asistan. El lugar debe contar con infraestructura adecuada para realizar las
presentaciones; anfiteatro o gimnasio apropiado.
Fechas y horarios a definir con cada institución y de acuerdo a una logística de planificación.
