Minimum Day Schedule
On Minimum Days students
will be dismissed at 12:35 and
lunch will be to go! After school
will provide care until the
regular dismissal time, but after
school labs and classes will be
canceled, because teachers will
need their rooms for
conferences.

pants/jeans and solid color top
and sweatshirts! Please no
stretch pants, leggings, or
jeggings. They MUST be worn
with skirt, shorts, or skorts.

NWEA Testing Next Week
All students will participate in NWEA Testing in reading, language arts and
math. NWEA tests are taken on computers and the difficulty of the test adjusts
based on students’ responses—becoming easier or harder depending on how the
student does. The test will take approximately 2 hours. Please encourage your
child to do their best on the NWEA.
The test will compare your child’s performance to children across the nation. This
information will be shared with you at parent teacher conferences on October 9
and 10th. All ECMS students take the NWEA three times each year.
Teachers use the test results to inform their instruction. Results also inform
referrals to math and literacy labs. The schedule for testing will be posted in the
office on Monday. Student who are absent during testing will make up the test
later that week or the following week.

If your student does not have an
agenda, they need one
immediately. ECMS agendas
are available for $7 in the front
office.
Junior Blind
-Junior Blind is back! Will be
having free vision screenings
scheduled for Oct. 15th and 16th,
please be on the lookout for the
flyer and consent form. Students
referred may be eligible for free
appointment and glasses.

Exámenes de NWEA la próxima semana
Junior Blind
Todos los estudiantes van a participar en los exámenes de NWEA. El examen consiste de
lectura, lenguaje, y matemáticas. El examen NWEA se toma por computadora y la
dificultad del examen depende de las respuestas del estudiante—se convierte más difícil o
más fácil dependiendo en el estudiante. El examen es aproximadamente 2 horas. Favor de
animar a su estudiante para que agá lo mejor posible en el examen NWEA.
¡Junior Blind ha regresado! Va a
tender examines de vista gratuita
el 15 y 16 de octubre, favor de estar
pendiente del folleto y el formulario
de consentimiento. Estudiantes que
son referidos pueden ser elegibles
para una cita y anteojos gratuitos.
El examen compara el rendimiento de su estudiante con otros estudiantes en el país. Esta
información va hacer compartida con usted durante de las conferencias de padres el 9 y 10
de octubre. Todos los estudiantes de ECMS toman el examen NWEA tres veces al año.
Los maestros usan esta información para su instrucción. Los resultados nos informan par
hacer referencias de los laboratorios de matemáticas y alfabetismo. El horario del examen
va estar disponible el lunes en la oficina. Estudiantes que falten durante de las
examinaciones tomaran el examen otro día.

firmados y devueltos. Los
estudiantes que van a participar en
los laboratorios de matemáticas o
literatura deben de llenar papeleo
para el programa de después de
escuela.
La politica de
tardanzas esta en
efecto:
Después de 3 tardias en la
semana, a la cuarta los
alumunos van a tener
detención durante el
almuerzo. Si su alumuno
recibe más de 3 detenciones a
la cuarta se les dará como un
SRC.
Días mínimos
En días mínimos los alumnos
saldrán a las 12:35 y almuerzo
será para llevar a casa!
Después de la escuela vamos
proveer cuidado hasta la hora
de salida regular. No habra
tutoria ni laboratorios por que
los maestros van a tener
conferencias en sus salones.

Favor de asegurase que su

apropiado: negro o caqui
pantalones/pantalones de
mezclilla y camisa solida y
suéter. Por favor no pantalones
estilo mayas, de licra. Deben
usar usado debajo de las faldas,
pantalón corto, o pantalón
corto/falda.
