Sir/Madam,
I wish to inform you that the Fourth Meeting of the GREPECAS Programmes and
Projects Review Committee (PPRC/4) will be convened at the ICAO SAM Regional Office in Lima,
Peru, from 12 to 14 July 2016.
The main objective of this meeting is to analyse the improvement in the implementation
of the activities approved by the PPRC/3 Meeting (Mexico City, Mexico, 21 to 23 July 2015), the
inclusion, modification and/or cancellation of programmes and projects, the approval of the results in the
implementation of programmes and projects, the status of implementation of conclusions and decisions
formulated by the PPRC/3 and GREPECAS, the resolution of high safety risk air navigation deficiencies,
the implementation of States inter-regional activities, and the monitoring and reporting of progress in the
achievement of air navigation goals.
The Meeting is addressed to professionals in charge of the planning and implementation
of air navigation in the Civil Aviation Authorities of the CAR/SAM Regions States selected as members
of the PPRC1; as well States and International Organizations who are not members, but are interested in
PPRC/4 Meeting agenda items.

and Venezuela) were ratified at the Twelfth Meeting of Civil Aviation Authorities of the SAM Region (RAAC/12), which was held in Lima, Peru, from 3 to 6 October 2011,
paragraph 2.3.5 of the Final Report.
