To the “vallisoletanos” Plaza España is the main attraction but to the visitor there is so much more
to see with its’ collection of historically important monuments and buildings. One of which is the
“Casa Colon” where, in 1506, witnessed the passing of discoverer “Columbus”. You can’t miss the
“Puente Colgando” or “hanging bridge” which joins the banks of the river. Another must see for
the visitor is the Casa Campo an impressive and most beautiful park right in the centre of city.
Watch out for the pheasants and peacocks whilst marvelling at its splendour.
