SECOND COLLECTION
This weekend the Second Collection, is for Maintenance
& Repair. It helps us with the r epair s and r estor ation of
the parish. Thank you for your generosity and support.
The Second Collection next weekend, November 28-29 is
a National collection to support the Catholic Campaign for
Human Development which is a domestic anti-poverty,
social justice program of the U.S. Catholic Bishops. Thank
you for your generosity.
OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE GROUP
-MEXICAN FOOD
On Sunday, November 22nd, after every Mass, the Guadalupe Committee invites you to come and taste the foods of
Mexico in the Parking Lot. All proceeds will go to support
the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe in December
12th, 2015. Come join us for a bite!
THANKSGIVING DAY MASS
Our one Mass at 10:00am will be a Concelebrated, bilingual
Mass. Please join us as a parish community to give thanks to
God for the many blessings in our lives. You may bring some
non-perishable food items (canned goods, dry goods, etc.) or
cash to help stock Marguerite’s Pantry, our local collabor ative ministry. Thank you for your generosity.

CHRIST THE KING
The Church’s liturgical year concludes
with the feast of Christ the King. Because
America was founded on the experience of
rejecting a king, calling Christ “the King”
can be ambiguous for Americans. But Jesus’ early followers described him as such
and, in fact, they became identified as
those who recognized in him the anointed
king, the Christ (in Hebrew, messiah) and
were called “Christians” (Acts 11:26). So what does it
mean to affirm that Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, the
King?. As the very name Christian implies, we who follow
Jesus are to share in his work of preaching and working for
God’s kingdom. In baptism and confirmation we too have
been anointed with oil and brought under his kingship. Our
lives should manifest our concern for God’s kingdom.
Working for peace and justice marks Jesus’ kingship. In
the same way, we, as his followers, should be concerned
for these also, both within the Christian community itself
and within the world as a whole. God’s kingship is manifested especially in concern for the poor, the needy, and the
marginal in society.
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 is the Feast of
the Immaculate Conception and a Holy Day of
Obligation. Masses will be:

WORLD YOUTH DAY 2016
50/50 RAFFLE
We want to invite our community to purchase some tickets to help
the Youth Group to reunite with the Pope in Poland. Tickets are
available in the Religious Store, Parish Offices and any participant
to WYD. Remember, by helping them you win as well! The Raffle will take place the first Sunday of each month. Next Raffle will
be on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 during the 8:30am Mass. Winning number will be announced in the following bulletin.
FAMILY BINGO NIGHT
On Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, we invite the families of our community to come and enjoy all together! It will
take place in the Valero Hall from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Everybody is invited!

SEGUNDA COLECTA
Este fin de semana, la Segunda Colecta es par a el
“Mantenimiento & Restauración”. Esta colecta ayuda con la
reparación y restauración de los edificios de la parroquia. Agradecemos su generosidad y ayuda.

Colecta es la Colecta Nacional para ayudar a la CCDH, este
programa es de los Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos que

El Domingo 22 de Noviembre, después de cada Misa, el Comité
Guadalupano les invita a que prueben varios platillos mexicanos en

MISA DE ACCION DE GRACIAS
En el Día de Acción de Gracias, se celebrará la Misa a las
10:00am. Unámonos par a agr adecer a Dios por tantas bendiciones que nos ha dado en la vida. Ustedes pueden traer ese
día comida de preserva como enlatados, arroz, azúcar, harina,
etc. O puede traer dinero en efectivo para ayudar para la Despensa de Marguerite. Gr acias.
CRISTO REY
El Año Litúrgico de la Iglesia concluye con
la fiesta de Cristo Rey. Debido a que América fue fundada en la experiencia de rechazo
de un rey, llamando a Cristo “el Rey” puede
ser ambiguo para los estadounidenses pero
los primeros seguidores de Jesús lo describen
como tal y, de hecho, se convirtieron identificados como aquellos que reconocieron en El al rey ungido,
el Cristo (en hebreo, mesías) y fueron llamados
“cristianos” (Hechos 11:26). Así que. ¿Qué significa afirmar que Jesús es el Mesías, el Cristo, el Rey?. Como el propio nombre Cristo implica, somos nosotros los que seguimos a Jesús para compartir en su obra de predicación y de
trabajo para el reino de Dios. En el bautismo y la confirmación hemos sido ungidos con aceite y puestos bajo su reinado. Nuestra vidas deben manifestar nuestra preocupación
por el reino de Dios. Trabajando por la paz y la justicia,
marcamos la realeza de Jesús. De la misma manera, nosotros, como sus seguidores, deberíamos estar preocupados
por estos también, dentro y fuera de la comunidad cristiana
en el mundo. El reino de Dios se manifiesta sobretodo en la
preocupación por los pobres, los necesitados y los marginados de la sociedad.

El Martes 8 de Diciembre del 2015 es la Festividad de la Inmaculada Concepción y es un Día de
Precepto. Las Misas serán:
