Estimadas Familias de Seward,
El primer día de clases ‐ Martes 6 de Septiembre ‐ se acerca rápidamente, y queremos asegurarnos de que tengan todo lo necesario para empezar el año exitosamente.
Para ayudar a motivar a los estudiantes con el comienzo de la escuela, y para proporcionar a las familias con recursos serviciales, CPS llevara a cabo eventos de Regreso a la Escuela en toda la ciudad. El Evento para nuestra Escuela Seward se llevará a cabo el 26 de agosto en la Escuela Kelly HS de 10am‐1pm.
Este evento festivo incluirá:
● almuerzo cortesía de Aramark
● un DJ proporcionado por I Heart Radio, junto con otras formas de entretenimiento para niños
● inflables y juegos
● sorteos y rifas con artículos donados por los socios de CPS
● una furgoneta médica para obtener ayuda con los formularios requeridos
● recursos valiosos para padres
Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de conocer a nuevos compañeros, volver a conectar con los amigos, y ganar una insignia digital de Regreso a la Escuela.
Para las familias, es una oportunidad para responder a todas sus preguntas antes del primer día de escuela. Nuestro evento contará con una tabla de información de Seward para que pueda obtener los formularios de salud, listas de útiles escolares y otros materiales importantes necesarios para el primer día de clases. Información adicional también estará disponible a partir de otros departamentos de CPS. Transporte al evento de Regreso a la Escuela estará disponible a través de un servicio de transporte en estas ubicaciones escolares de la red 8: Back of the Yards College Prep y Gage Park HS, y Curie HS.

Dear Families, The first day of school – Tuesday, September 6 – is coming up fast, and we want to make sure you have everything you need to start the year off successfully. To help students get excited about the start of school, and to provide families with helpful resources, CPS will be holding Back‐to‐School events across the city. Seward’s event will be held on August 26th at Kelly HS from 10am‐1pm
This festive event will include:

giveaways and raffles with items donated by CPS partners
a medical van for help with required forms
valuable parent resources Students will have the chance to meet new classmates, reconnect with friends, and earn a digital Back‐
to‐School Badge.
For families, it’s an opportunity to answer all your questions before the first day of school. Our event will feature a Seward information table so you can obtain health forms, school supply lists, and other important materials necessary for the first day of school. Additional information will also be available from other CPS departments. Transportation to the Back‐to‐School event is available through a shuttle service at these Network 8 school locations: Back of the Yards HS, Gage Park HS, and Curie HS.
