SPRING CARNIVAL
Our Spring Carnival will be Friday, June 10th from 10 am – 2pm. Students in grades PK-2 will enjoy the
carnival from 10am – 12pm. Students in grades 3-8 will enjoy the carnival from 12pm – 2pm. Parents
wishing to sign their student out of school will be able to do so beginning at 9:40 am in our gymnasium.
Do not go to the main office to sign students out the morning of the carnival.
Students will be allowed to be signed out by a parent or someone on
their emergency contact list only.

Once students are signed out, they are able to stay at the carnival beyond the time for their grade as long
as they remain with the person that signed them out. That person will be responsible for the student(s)
for the rest of the day and will take them home when the carnival is over at 2pm.

WIN PRIZES FOR READING THIS SUMMER
The Enoch Pratt Free Library is hosting a summer reading program for students in grades PK-4. Student
participants can win prizes if they read at least 15 minutes a day from June 15 to August 10. Reading
logs will go home with their last report card. Students have to go to an Enoch Pratt Library for prizes.
Read for 35 Days – Earn a free t-shirt and 2 tickets to the aquarium
Read for 50 Days – Earn a bonus prize!
Our school library will be open this summer for students to check out books! All AG students can come on
Wednesdays from 12pm – 2pm to check out books to complete their summer reading logs and participate in a
craft activity.
Help Our School Win $1,000
The school that has the most participants in the summer reading program will win $1000 and a party.

1. General admission to The Walters Art Museum is free every day!
2. Head to the American Visionary Art Museum and enjoy the free sculpture plaza and wildflower
gardens.
3. Head out for a bike trail. Grab your bike and head to Gwynns Falls Trail, a 15 mile trail system that
connects over 30 neighborhoods in west and south Baltimore with parks, cultural resources and historic
landmarks. Don’t forget your bike helmet!
4. See how fudge is made! Take a free tour of The Fudgery to see what goes into making fudge. You
and the kids will enjoy watching the fudgemakers sing and dance while they work.

CARNAVAL DE PRIMAVERA
Nuestro Carnaval de Primavera será el viernes, 10 de junio de 10 am - 2 pm. Los estudiantes en los
grados de PK-2 podrán disfrutar del carnaval de 10am - 12pm. Los estudiantes en los grados 3-8 podrán
disfrutar del carnaval de 12:00-2:00. Los padres que deseen firmar su estudiante de la escuela podrán
hacerlo a partir de las 9:40 am en nuestro gimnasio.
Por favor, no vaya a la oficina principal a sacar los niños de la escuela la mañana de la feria!
Los estudiantes podrán ser firmados por uno de sus padres o alguien en su lista de
contactos de emergencia.
Cuando a los estudiantes están firmados afuera, ellos son capaces de permanecer en el carnaval más allá
del tiempo correspondiente a su grado, siempre y cuando se mantengan con la persona que los firmó
afuera. Esa persona será responsable por el estudiante (s) para el resto del día y se llevará al estudiante a
casa cuando el carnaval ha terminado a las 2 pm.
Carnaval de Primavera es siempre un momento de diversión para nuestros estudiantes y sus familias. No
podemos esperar para verlos a todos el 10 de junio!

READING THIS SUMMER
La Biblioteca Enoch Pratt está organizando un programa de lectura de verano para los estudiantes en los
grados PK-4. Los estudiantes participantes pueden ganar premios si leen al menos 15 minutos al día 15 de
junio al 10 de agosto registros de lectura se irá a casa con su último boletín de calificaciones. Los
estudiantes tienen que ir a una Biblioteca Pratt Enoc por premios.
Leer durante 35 días - Gana una camiseta gratis y 2 entradas para el acuario
Leer durante 50 días - Gane un premio de bonificación!
Nuestra biblioteca estará abierta este verano para los estudiantes para sacar libros! Todos los estudiantes
AG pueden venir los miércoles de 24:00-14:00 para sacar libros para completar sus registros de lectura
de verano y participar en una actividad artesanal.
AYUDA A NUESTRA ESCUELA GANAR $ 1.000
La escuela que tenga la mayoría de los participantes en el programa de lectura de verano va a ganar $
