Anoche tuve una pesadilla y quisiera contártelo todo.
El fin de semana pasado, a eso de las cinco y cuarto de la tarde en un parque cercano
lleno de gente, conocí a unos recién casados bastante extraños (se me ocurrió
decírselo pero soy un tío educado, así que me callé). Su boda había sido en la
catedral gótica hacía un par de meses. El marido andaba como si estuviera borracho
y olía a tabaco. Su esposa debía de tener unos treinta años y le había cogido del
brazo para apoyarle. Parecía que tenía vergüenza ajena. ¡La pobre! Nos pusimos a
charlar y, por muy locos que fueran, me cayeron bien. (Hacía falta que me hablaran
claramente porque soy un poco sordo.)
Fue entonces cuando apareció un actor celebérrimo (cuyas películas me encantan)
que vive en una granja antiquísima en las afueras de nuestra ciudad. La pareja se le
acercó y le frió a preguntas, pidiéndole una foto y su autógrafo.
De pronto, hubo una explosión: tres turistas madrileños resultaron heridos y dos
fallecieron. Si hubiera podido ayudarles, lo habría hecho pero, por desgracia, acabé
perdiendo el conocimiento, cubierto de sangre.
Cuando volví en mí, dos policías que llevaban sendas pistolas trataban de
tranquilizar a la muchedumbre aterrorizada. ¡Qué horror!
