VIII Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba
REGLAMENTO PARA CORTOMETRAJES
I. Organización, lugar y fechas
El VIII Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba – ANIMA2015, es organizado conjuntamente por la
Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba a través de su Centro Experimental de Animación
(CEAn, FA – UNC); la Cátedra Animación de la Universidad Nacional de Villa María (Animación UNVM); y el
Centro Cultural España ● Córdoba (CCEC). Colabora en la organización el Centro de Producción e Investigación
en Artes (CEPIA, FA – UNC).
ANIMA2015 tendrá lugar en Córdoba, Argentina del 10 al 12 de Septiembre de 2015.
II. Objetivos
Los objetivos principales del Festival son:
● Favorecer el reconocimiento del arte de la animación en sus múltiples dimensiones: técnicas, estilísticas,
como producto social, como bien cultural, etc.
● Generar un espacio de encuentro, reflexión e intercambio entre los distintos sectores que, desde sus
respectivas actividades, aportan a esta industria cultural.
● Promover la actualización tecnológica regional.
● Estimular la producción, distribución y exhibición de animación.
● Fomentar instancias de capacitación específicas en el área.
III. Sobre los trabajos
El Festival se encuentra abierto a la exhibición de obras de animación de cualquier género, temática , formato
y soporte (cine, video, televisión, Internet, smartphones, etc. ). Especial interés se presta a los trabajos en los
cuales las intenciones expresivas del realizador sobresalen frente a los requerimientos del mercado; y a
producciones de estudiantes. La participación es abierta a trabajos de cualquier lugar del mundo, con especial
interés en aquellos procedentes de América Latina. No existe un límite al número de obras que el participante
desee enviar, pero deberá completar una Ficha de Inscripción por cada una y respetar las indicaciones para el
envío.
Para la competencia de cortometrajes animados, la duración de las películas no deberá ser superior a 30
(treinta) minutos.
No hay costo de inscripción.
No se aceptarán trabajos que hayan sido inscriptos en cualquiera de las ediciones anteriores del Festival.
El Festival no abonará screening fees a ninguna película seleccionada.
Los trabajos deberán inscribirse en una de las siguientes categorías:
Ficción
Documental
No narrativo
Videoclip
Promocional o publicitaria
Especial de TV
Serie / Miniserie
Los Organizadores no se comprometen a la difusión de la totalidad del material receptado. La conformación de
las Muestras en Competitivas y No Competitivas será competencia de la Dirección Artística del festival, y las
decisiones al respecto serán inapelables. Si el participante no desea que su película sea considerada para
Muestras No Competitivas, deberá indicarlo marcando el casillero correspondiente en la Ficha de Inscripción.
Una vez publicada la selección, los responsables de las películas no podrán solicitar que se retire su película
del Festival.
Todos aquellos autores cuyos trabajos sean seleccionados para la exhibición, tanto en las Categorías
Competitivas como en las No Competitivas, recibirán un Certificado de Participación en la Muestra y el
Catálogo del Festival.
Los resultados del proceso de selección serán notificados a los participantes a partir del
05/07/2015.
IV. Jurados y Distinciones
Los organizadores nombrarán Jurados que otorgarán los premios a las categorías competitivas.

De considerarlo conveniente, los Jurados podrán otorgar además Menciones Especiales (Diploma). Las
decisiones de los Jurados serán inapelables.
Por último, el público presente en las proyecciones votará por el PREMIO DEL PÚBLICO (Trofeo y diploma).
V. Modalidad de participación
Los interesados en participar deberán:
● Completar la Ficha de Inscripción online, disponible en http://www.animafestival.com.ar.
● Enviar dos imágenes del corto y una fotografía del Director(es), formato .JPEG; tamaño mínimo 10cm x
15cm (4 pulgadas X 6 pulgadas) a resolución 300dpi, a la dirección [email protected]
ATENCIÓN> A los fines de la preselección, las películas deberán ser accesibles online y en streaming
(YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) NO ENVÍE UN DVD. NO ENVÍE UN ARCHIVO.
Los idiomas oficiales del Festival son español e inglés. En el caso que su película incluya diálogos en alguna
otra lengua, deberá enviarse subtitulada en alguno de estos idiomas.
Si su película fuera seleccionada, le solicitaremos un archivo en alta definición para la proyección. Sugerimos
que el envío de este archivo sea mediante descarga via Internet. El Festival no pagará en ningún caso tasa
alguna ocasionada por el envío de las copias.
Las películas se incluirán en el archivo audiovisual del Centro Experimental de Animación, cual tendrá amplias
facultades de disposición de las mismas; incluso la de exhibirlas pública o privadamente en cualquier parte del
mundo, por sí o por terceros; pero únicamente en forma gratuita y con fines educativos y culturales.
VI. Fecha límite
La convocatoria permanecerá abierta hasta el 30 DE ABRIL DE 2015.
VII. Menciones
Los productores y directores de las películas premiadas se comprometen a mencionar el Premio y el nombre
“VIII Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba ANIMA2015” en los créditos de su película, sitio web y
en toda la documentación relacionada a la misma.
VIII. Acerca de los Derechos de Autor
Las obras que utilicen imágenes y/o sonidos preexistentes serán aceptadas bajo la responsabilidad del
participante, en lo que atañe a derechos originales con respecto a terceros. Los participantes se harán
responsables por los reclamos de cualquier naturaleza que terceros pudieran hacer respecto a su aporte en la
producción, derechos de autor, de inclusión, de intérpretes, etc.
IX. Aceptación de las Bases
Todos los participantes, por el sólo hecho de serlo, aceptan íntegramente estas bases. En caso de cualquier
problema no contemplado por las mismas, éste será resuelto por los Organizadores considerando la versión en
español del presente reglamento.

I. Organización y Fecha
El VIII Festival Internacional de Animación de Córdoba – ANIMA2015, es organizado conjuntamente por la
Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba a través de su Centro Experimental de Animación
(CEAn, FA – UNC); la Cátedra Animación de la Universidad Nacional de Villa María (Animación UNVM); y el
Centro Cultural España ● Córdoba (CCEC). Colabora en la organización el Centro de Producción e Investigación
en Artes (CEPIA, FA – UNC).

aquellos trabajos producidos en el marco de instituciones educativas. La participación es abierta a trabajos de
cualquier lugar del mundo, con especial interés en aquellos procedentes de América Latina. No existe un límite
al número de obras que cada realizador o productor desee enviar, pero deberá completar una Ficha de
Inscripción por cada una y respetar las indicaciones para el envío.
No hay costo de inscripción.
No se aceptarán trabajos que hayan sido inscriptos en cualquiera de las ediciones anteriores del Festival.
El Festival no abonará screening fees a las películas seleccionados para los distintos programas de exhibición.
Los Organizadores no se comprometen a la difusión de la totalidad del material receptado. La conformación de
las Muestras en Competitivas y No Competitivas será competencia de la Dirección Artística del festival, y las
decisiones al respecto serán inapelables. Si el participante no desea que su película sea considerada para
Muestras No Competitivas, deberá indicarlo marcando el casillero correspondiente en la Ficha de Inscripción.

REGLAMENTO DE LA
MUESTRA DE ESCUELAS DE ANIMACIÓN
La Muestra de Escuelas de Animación tendrá el carácter de Sección No Competitiva en el VIII Festival
Internacional de Animación de Córdoba ANIMA2015. El objetivo fundamental de esta sección es promocionar y
fomentar la educación específica en el arte y las técnicas de la animación en el contexto nacional e
internacional.
Podrá participar en dicha sección cualquier institución educativa donde se enseñe animación como carrera o
como materia específica. La institución podrá pertenecer indistintamente al régimen público o privado, de nivel
primario, medio, o superior. En cualquier caso, la institución deberá contar con reconocimiento oficial otorgado
por la autoridad educativa competente, o en trámite.
Cada institución podrá enviar un compilado de hasta 5′ (cinco minutos) de animación, integrado por Trabajos
Prácticos de los alumnos, Trabajos de Final de Carrera, Tesis, Tesinas, o cualquier otra producción audiovisual
generada por estudiantes de las carreras o materias específicas de animación. No se aceptarán: Cortometrajes
realizados por los profesores, cortometrajes incompletos.
Inscripción
Las instituciones interesadas en participar deberán enviar a la dirección de correo [email protected] la
siguiente información:
I. Una nota en papel membretado de la institución donde se solicita la participación en la Muestra de Escuelas
de Animación, con firma y sello de la autoridad responsable (Director, Vicedirector, Secretario, etc.) Formato
jpg o pdf.
II. Un archivo .rtf con el listado de cortometrajes que se incluyen en la muestra, nombre y apellido de los
alumnos realizadores, nombre y apellido del docente(s) responsable(s), nombre de la carrera o asignatura.
III. Un link de descarga del compilado de animaciones en formato HD (Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. ). Las
Escuelas podrán incluir una placa inicial de presentación de la Institución, y una placa final al término del
compilado. La duración máxima de las placas es de 5” (cinco segundos). No se aceptarán compilaciones con
placas intermedias, ni mosca identificatoria, ni ningún otro elemento no mencionado expresamente en este
Reglamento.
En caso que la duración del total del material receptado supere la duración programada por el Festival ANIMA
para el Panorama (1h 30min), se realizará una selección.
Las escuelas que participan de la sección, las carreras y/o cátedras que participen, las obras que integren sus
compilados y los realizadores / alumnos participantes serán mencionados en el catálogo del Festival
ANIMA2015 y recibirán una constancia de participación.

Rules and Regulations for Short Films

the Centro Cultural España ● Córdoba (AECID). The Centre of Arts Research and Production
(CEPIA, FA – UNC) collaborates in the organization.
It will be held in Córdoba, Argentina, from September 10th through 12th, 2013.
II. Objectives
The Festival’s main objectives are:
● To support the recognition of the art of animation, both in its technical and cultural diversity.
● To generate a space for reflection, encounter and exchange among the different areas that,
from their particular activities, contribute to cultural industries.
● To promote technological developments in the region.
● To favor and stimulate animation production, distribution and exhibition.
● To promote specific training instances in the field of animation.
III. About the films
The Festival is open to animation films of every genre, topic, format and screening media (film,
video, television, Internet, smartphones, etc. ). Special interest is granted to those works where
the filmmaker’s expressive intention stands out from market requirements; and also to student
productions. Participation is open for artists all over the world, with special interest in those
from Latin America. There is no limit in the number of works a participant can send, but a
separate Entry Form must be completed for each work, and delivery instructions must be
complied.
For the animated short categories, running time should not be over 30 (thirty) minutes.
There is not entry fee.
Films that have been submitted for any of the previous editions of the Festival will not be
accepted.
The festival will not pay screening fees for any selected film.
Films should register under one of the following categories:
Fiction
Documentary
Non narrative
Music Video
Promotional or Advertising
TV Special
Series / Miniseries
The Organizers do not compromise to the exhibition of the total number of entries. The
Festival’s Artistic Director will be responsible for organizing a selection of entries for the
Festival’s screenings, in both the Competitive and Non – Competitive categories. The decisions
taken in this respect are final. If the entrant would rather not have his / her film considered for
Non-Competitive categories, he / she should check the appropriate box on the Entry Form.
Once the list of selected films has been published, the entrant may not withdraw his / her entry
from the Festival.
Those whose entries have been selected for exhibition – either for Competitive or NonCompetitive categories – will receive a Certificate of Participation in the Festival and the Festival
Catalog.
The result of the selection process will be notified to all entrants starting July 5th, 2015.
IV. Juries and Distinctions
The organizers will name the Juries that will award prizes to competitive categories.

Finally, the audience attending the screenings will vote for the AUDIENCE AWARD (Diploma).
V. Entry procedures
Films should be registered by ONE of the following procedures, all of which are free of
charge:

There is no entry fee to register for the festival, but Click For Festivals will charge its service
fee.
B) Standard procedure:
● Complete the online entry form, available at http://www.animafestival.com.ar
● Send two stills of the film and one photograph of the director, JPEG format, minimum size 4
inches X 6 inches (10cm X 15cm) at 300dpi resolution, to the e-mail address
[email protected]
PLEASE NOTE> For selection purposes, all films should be accesible online and streaming
(YouTube, Vimeo, etc. ) DO NOT SEND A DVD. DO NOT SEND A FILE.
The Festival’s official languages are Spanish and English. If the film has dialogue in another
language, the entrant must enter a subtitled copy in either Spanish or English.
If your film is selected, we will ask you for a high definition file for projection. We strongly
recommend that this file is also sent as an Internet download. The Festival will not pay, in any
case, any fees from the mailing of the entries.
The films will be stored at the CEAn’s Animation Archives. This entity will have ample faculties
of disposal of the copies; including the right to screen them publicly of privately anywhere in
the world, by itself or by a third party; but only with free admittance and on cultural or
educational purposes.
VI. Deadline
Registration will be open until April 30th, 2015.
VII. Mentions
The entrants of the award-winning films at ANIMA2015 should mention the Prize obtained and
the text “VIII Córdoba International Animation Festival ANIMA2015” in the credits of their film,
and on all related documentation.
VIII. About Copyright Issues
Works which use pre-existent images or sound will be accepted under the entrant’s
responsibility in which respects to third party’s copyright. The entrants will be responsible for
claims of any nature that third parties might perform in respect to production credits, copyright,
inclusion rights, performers’ rights, etc.
IX. Acceptance of these Rules and Regulations
All participants, just by sending an entry to the Festival, fully accept these Rules and
Regulations. Should any problem arise, it will be solved by the Organizers considering the
Spanish version of these Rules and Regulations.

Rules and Regulations for the Animation Schools
Panorama
The Animation Schools Panorama will be a Non – Competitive section of the ANIMA2015 – VIII
Córdoba International Animation Festival. The main objective of this section is to promote and
foment education on the specifics of the art and techniques of animation both in a national and
international context.
Any educational institution where animation is taught as a career, or as a specific Chair, may
enter. The institution may be public or private; and may be of primary, secondary or higher
level of education. In any case, the institution must be accredited by the competent educational
authority in its location.
Every institution may send a 5’ (five minutes) animation compilation, integrated by student’s
films, films of end of studies, thesis films, or any other animated production generated by their
animation students. The following will not be accepted: Films made by teachers; incomplete,
not finished or work – in – progress films.
Registration
Those institutions interested in participating should send the following information
to [email protected]:
I. An official letter in letterhead paper applying to the Animation School Panorama, signed and
sealed by the school’s competent authority (Headmaster, Principal, Director, Dean, Secretary,
etc.). Jpg or pdf format.
II. An .rtf file listing the films included in the school compilation, full name of the student
filmmakers, full name of the teacher(s), name of the specific Chair or career title.
III. A download link of the animation compilation in HD format (Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. ).
The schools may include an institutional ID, logo or presentation at the beginning of their
compilation, and another at the end. These IDs should not last longer than 5 seconds. We will
not accept compilation with logos in between films, or with any school ID, or any other items
not specifically mentioned in these Regulations.
In case the total running time of all entries received is longer than the running time scheduled
by ANIMA Festival for the Panorama, a selection will be made.
Participating schools, carreers and/or Chairs, the films in the compilation and the student
filmmakers will be mentioned in the ANIMA2015 Festival Catalog, and will receive a Certificate
of Participation.
