La verniciatrice a rullo applica vernici o oli su supporti piani per contatto tra un rullo gommato detto “applicatore” ed il pannello trasportato sul tappeto. Il rullo applicatore trattiene sul suo esterno un film di vernice e lavora a contatto con un rullo detto “dosatore”. Il rullo dosatore cromato è montato su di una slitta che permette di avvicinarlo o allontanarlo dal rullo applicatore, con l’effetto appunto di “dosare” lo spessore del film di vernice che si deposita, in modo da assicurare un’applicazione costante. L’operazione di stracciatura si effettua con spazzole controrotanti, che facilitano la penetrazione della tinta od olio appena applicati nel poro spazzolato del legno, uniformando l’applicazione. The chromium plated doctor roller is assembled on a support which allows moving it near to or away from the application roller, with the very effect to “dose” the thickness of the coating and guarantee a constant application. La operación de cepillado se efectúa con cepillos contrarrotatorios, que facilitan la penetración de la tinta o aceite que acaba de aplicarse en el poro acepillado de la madera, uniformando la aplicación. 1.
