1.ALLERGY ALERT TEST
Perform an allergy alert test 48 hours before
each product use even if you have already used
coloring products before. Perform the allergy
alert test on an area of skin sized approximately 0.5 in × 0.5 in on the inside of the elbow.
Apply a small amount of the Color Cream in a
thin layer on the inside of the elbow with a
cotton swab and leave uncovered for 45 minutes. Avoid contact with clothes. Close tube
again carefully. After 45 minutes, wash off the
Color Cream thoroughly with lukewarm water.
If any reaction occurs during the processing
time or during the following 48 hours, you
should rinse i­mmediately and not use this
­colorant.

2.IF DURING COLORING YOU EXPERIENCE
–any stinging or burning and/or rash, rinse imme­
diately and discontinue coloring your hair as this
may be an indication of a more serious reaction.
Do not color your hair again before consulting a
doctor or seeking medical advice.
–rapidly spreading skin rash, dizziness or faintness,
shortness of breath and/or swelling of eyes/face,
rinse immediately and seek immediate medical
attention and contact the manufacturer.
•If you wear contact lenses during application and
any product gets into your eye, r­emove the con­
tact lens first, then flush immediately with a large
amount of lukewarm water and seek medical
advice.
•Do not inhale or ingest the product.
•Avoid unnecessary skin contact.
•Do not use if your hair has been colored with
henna or metallic dyes.
3.IF AFTER COLORING OR ON THE FOLLOWING
DAYS YOU EXPERIENCE problems such as skin or
scalp itching, skin or scalp rash, swelling of eyes/
face, blistering and/or skin or scalp weeping, seek
immediate medical attention and contact the man­
ufacturer.
This test represents an important precaution.
However, be aware that even if an allergy alert
test has been carried out you may still experience an allergic reaction when you color your
hair. The allergy alert test is not a guarantee of
avoiding future allergic reactions. Please consult a doctor if you have any doubts.

•Remove all metal objects such as clips and hair
pins from hair before coloring and keep them
away during coloring. Do not use metal tools.
•Keep developer away from heat and light. Do
not mix this colorant with any other product. Do
not keep any unused product. Do not leave the
mixture in a closed bottle (bottle may expand or
burst).

•Perform an ALLERGY ALERT TEST in any case
(see back side), even if you have used a color­
ing product of this or another brand before.
•Please do not wash your hair prior to applica­
tion.
•Start with the application immediately after
mixing.
•Discard any unused mixture promptly – it
cannot be stored for another application.
•Resealing may cause the container to burst.
•If your hair is longer than chin length, we rec­
ommend using 2 packs of Schwarzkopf
Color Ultîme for the FULL HEAD APPLICATION.
•If your hair is already colored, follow the
ROOT APPLICATION procedure.
•
Avoid product coming into contact with
clothing, jewellery, metal, plastic or absorbent surfaces as the stains occurring
can normally not be removed. Remove spill­
ages immediately with water.
•
We recommend repeating the application
every 4 weeks, as hair grows approximately
0.5 in per month.

plication Bottle on dry, not pre-washed hair.

ATTENTION
Put on the clothing protection and the gloves sup­
plied.
Unscrew the application tip from the Application
Bottle. Open the Color Cream tube by piercing
the tube sealing with the reverse side of the cap.
Squeeze the whole content of the tube into the
Application Bottle.

The color of the mixture of some shades chang­
es during the application process. This has no
impact on the color result.

Screw the bottle as firm as possible. Shake it vigorously until all components are thoroughly
mixed and turned into a smooth cream.
Finally, unscrew the upper cap and start with the
application im­me­diately.

3.b ROOT APPLICATION
•Do not use Schwarzkopf Color Ultîme two weeks
before and after having a perm or a lightening. Otherwise, the color result could become
too intensive or uneven.
If your hair is:
•lighter than recommended, damaged or
permed: the result of the coloration can become
more intensive than that shown on the picture of
the packaging or on the shade chart.
•darker than recommended: The result of the
coloration can become less intensive than that
on the picture of the packaging or on the shade
chart.
•damaged or very porous: We do not recom­
mend applying the product on the ends (about
0.5–1 in) these should be finally covered only
5–10 minutes before the exposure time fin­
ishes.

This application is necessary if:
•your hair is already colored permanently
and a regrowth is ­visible.
•your hair tips are darker or in poor condition.
Apply about ⅔ of the
coloration mixture
only on the regrowth
area. For this, make a
parting with the top
of the Application Bottle and apply the mixture
along the parting by massaging it into the roots
with your fingertips (leave supplied gloves on).
Repeat this procedure for the whole regrowth
area. Ensure all regrowth is evenly covered.
Allow the coloration mixture to work for
20–25 minutes. Apply the rest of the mixture
to the whole hair and allow it to work for a fur­
ther 5–10 minutes.
At the end of the processing time, apply warm
water to the hair and work into lather. Then
rinse out thoroughly
until water runs
clear. Finally shampoo
your hair and rinse out
thoroughly.
4. AFTER-TREATMENT
As a subsequent care,
massage the Intense
Care Elixir into the
towel dry hair. Allow
to work for 2 minutes
and then rinse out thoroughly to leave your hair
noticeably softer and with beautiful shine.
The Intense Care Elixir is sufficient for 3–4 ap­
plications, depending on the length of your hair.
