Riding the SolTrans bus is good for the environment, good for your wallet, and is less
stressful than driving. You can read, relax, chat with friends and let us drive!
How to Ride
To better enable us to serve you in arriving to your destination on time, please have the proper fare
and valid identification ready upon boarding. Complete description of SolTrans’ fare structure and
ticket outlet locations are also available on the brochure titled SolTrans Fares.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
No service on Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New
Year’s Day.
SolTrans operates Saturday service, with expanded schedules on Route 80, on the following
Holidays: Day after Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Day, Veterans Day and Presidents Day.
Fares
Children
Up to two children age 5 and under ride free per fare paying passenger. Additional children pay
youth fare.
Discount Fare Eligibility
Senior 65+ / Disabled / Medicare Recipients
To qualify for the Senior/Disabled/Medicare fare, you must present one of the following:





Photo ID with birthdate indicating 65+
Valid Medicare Card with photo ID
Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount Card
DMV Disabled License Plate Registration
DMV Disabled Parking Placard printout
Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount Card
The RTC Discount Card is available to qualified persons with disabilities and senior citizens 65 years
of age or older. The card makes it easier for you to demonstrate your eligibility for reduced fares on
fixed route bus, rail and ferry systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

CALENDARIO DE FIESTAS
No hay servicio en Pascua, Memorial Day, 4 de julio, Día del Trabajo, Acción de Gracias, Navidad y
Año Nuevo.
SolTrans opera con servicio de los sábados, con horarios ampliados en la Ruta 80, en los siguientes días festivos: Día despues de Acción de Gracias, Día de Martin Luther King, Día de los Veteranos y el Día de los Presidentes.

Niños
Hasta dos niños de 5 años y menores viajen gratis por pasajero que paga tarifa. Niños adicionales

Elegibilidad para Descuento de Tarifa
Personas de 65 años o mayor / Discapacitados / Titulares de Medicare
Para tener derecho a la tarifa de Mayor de Edad / Discapacitado / Medicare, usted debe presentar
uno de los siguientes:
• Identificación con foto con la fecha de nacimiento que indica 65 +

Tarjeta de descuento Regional Transit Connection (RTC)
La tarjeta de descuento RTC está disponible para personas calificadas con discapacidades y las
personas de 65 años de edad o mayores. La tarjeta hace que sea más fácil para usted de demostrar su elegibilidad para tarifas reducidas en autobús de ruta fija, sistemas ferroviarios y de ferry
en toda el área de la Bahía de San Francisco.
