We are starting a Grief Support Group on the 1 & 3 Sundays, 3:00pm-5:00pm, beginning March 7 . The goals of the
group are to provide a safe space to share your story or just be present and listen in a supportive and loving environment.
Trained grief care ministers in the parish will facilitate. Please call Barbara Elordi MFT, 577-7474, if you have any

What: A Lenten concert featuring the Jacob and Matthew Band, a rock quartet from Los Angeles, who recently opened the 2009
National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City and are regulars at the Youth Day in LA.

Loving Families Program
We are excited to be able to offer the “Loving Families” parenting program here at Resurrection!
The Loving Families sessions will help parents enhance their relationship with their children in a caring and loving approach. The first
session of the program will be “Love and Affection” and additional sessions will build around this core session.
Sessions will be on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7pm and there are sessions in English and in Spanish.

Our facilitator for these sessions is Blanca Benitez, who has taught parenting classes for Kaiser Permanente and various Sonoma
County organizations.
There is NO FEE to attend – but you do need to register in advance in the parish office so we know how many materials to prepare.

Estamos contentos de poder ofrecer “Familias que se aman”, un programa para padres. Las sesiones serán los martes
por la tardecita.
Las sesiones de “Familias que se aman” ayudarán a los padres a mejorar sus relaciones con sus hijos de una forma cariñosa. La
primera sesión se titula “Amor y afecto” y las siguientes sesiones se basarán en este tema central.
Las clases serán de las 5:30-7pm (martes) in la iglesia y se ofrecerán en inglés y en español.
Sesiones en inglés: 2 y 9 de febrero
Sesiones en español: 9 de marzo y 6 de abril
La experta maestra y facilitadora, Blanca Benitez, quien ha enseñado clases para los padres en Kaiser Permanente y en varias
organizaciones por todo el Condado de Sonoma, será la instructora.
