Library Events
There’s more than reading going on at the library this summer.
Musicians, animals, magicians, mad scientists, puppets and more
are scheduled every week at each branch location! Plus, kids
can get hands-on STEAM experience – Science, Technology,
Engineering, Art and Math. Make a robot that draws, create a
3D book, or make your own musical instrument – just to name a
few. Check with your local branch for the summer

doesn’t mean children should say goodbye to reading.
Join Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings in the Mayor’s Summer Reading
Club and have fun while keeping your child’s
academic skills sharp.

•Club Members who log 40 hours by July 30 (24 hours for
readers under 6) will be entered to win grand prizes.
