This month is extremely busy but full of exciting events. We
appreciate everyone who came to Open House and the AppleID
information meeting. This was a wonderful time to see what your
students are learning and
hear how we will be using
the iPads in the classroom
to enhance your child’s
learning. We are really
looking forward to seeing
all the amazing things the
student’s will accomplish
on the iPads.

Este mes está muy ocupado, pero lleno de emocionantes eventos.
Agradecemos a todos los que vinieron a la casa abierta y la reunión de

Can you believe it is November? Time is flying by and there is a lot of
learning taking place in the classrooms. We are very excited about the
ConnectEd grant and can't wait for all students to have an iPad. Have
a Happy Thanksgiving!

We have the first
six weeks in the
book. We are off to
a fantastic start.
We are really
excited about the
Apple I pad roll out
to come. Reading
clubs have started
and are off to a
great start. We are
very thankful to
have great
volunteers at Bell’s Hill. We are adding numerous literacy aides to help
the students. Keep working hard on those grades and great things
will come from awesome effort.

Tenemos las primeras seis semanas en el libro. Estamos a un comienzo
fantástico. Estamos muy entusiasmados con el despliegue por venir
del Apple I pad. Clubs de lectura han comenzado y han tenido un
gran comienzo. Estamos muy agradecidos de tener grandes
voluntarios en Bell’s . Estamos añadiendo numerosos ayudantes de
alfabetización para ayudar a los estudiantes. Sigue trabajando duro en
esos grados y grandes cosas vendrán con gran esfuerzo.

This month we have our first field trip! On
Tuesday, November 17 the 4th and 5th grades
will be traveling to Waco Hall on the Baylor
University campus to hear the Baylor Symphony
perform a concert. They will hear pieces such as
"March" from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky and
"Mambo" from West Side Story by Bernstein.

Este mes tenemos nuestra primera excursión! El martes 17 de
noviembre, 4º y 5º grados van a viajar a Waco Hall en la Universidad
de Baylor para escuchar la Sinfónica de Baylor realizar un concierto.

Science News
Science Lab is measuring force (a push or a
pull), rainwater and temperature. Science
and Art teamed up to plant, grow and
decorate our own 'chia pets'. The
kindergarten and pre-k students took them
home in October.

In November, Bell's Hill Garden Club began
their weekly meetings and projects. We clean, recycle and plant our
teacher's used k-cups. The Greenhouse holds many of our Club's
plantings for future sales and gifts.

Laboratorio de Ciencias esta en la medición de la fuerza (un empujón
o un tirón), el agua de lluvia y la temperatura. Ciencia y arte se
unieron para plantar, crecer y decorar nuestros propios ' mascotas de
chia'. Los alumnos de kinder y pre-k los llevaron a casa en octubre.
En noviembre, el Club del Jardin de Bell’s Hill comenzó sus reuniones
y proyectos semanales. Limpiamos, reciclamos y plantamos utilizando
k-tazas de cafe de nuestros maestros. El invernadero tiene muchas de
las plantaciones de nuestro club para las ventas futuras y regalos.

Hello, from Art class! We are so excited about Art
club and Art UIL beginning! Also, this six weeks we
will be focusing on color in our art work. Ask your
little ones about primary colors and your older
students about warm and cool colors. We have been
creating art work connected to both. I have really enjoyed getting to
know your student. They are all special. Art Night for Kinder through
2nd grade is coming up on Oct. 29th. I hope to see you there!

Hola, de la clase de arte! Estamos muy entusiasmados con el principio
del club de Arte y Arte UIL! Además, estas seis semanas que se
centrarán en color en nuestra obra de arte. Pregunte a los más
pequeños sobre los colores primarios y sus estudiantes mayores
acerca de colores cálidos y fríos. Hemos estado creando obras de arte
conectado a ambos. Realmente

students will be learning rhythm and
dance routines, along with low
organized games. Third, fourth and
fifth grade students will learn various
soccer skills and lead-up games.
