Números en inglés Extraído de Escuelapedia Los números en inglés se denominan ‘numbers’. Se clasifican en números cardinales, la forma básica de los números (1, 2, 3, 4, 5…), que indica la cantidad exacta y números ordinales, usados para indicar un orden en una secuencia (primero, segundo, tercero…). Los números son usados para indicar cantidades, edades, horas, entre otras funciones. Veamos a continuación los números en inglés de 1 a 1.000. Generalmente los números ordinales en inglés son formados con la adición del sufijo ‘-th’. Sin embargo, observamos que algunos números acompañan los sufijos ‘-st’ (first), ‘-nd’ (second) y ‘-rd’ (third), es decir, los tres primeros y sus derivados, por ejemplo, 31st: thirty-first.
