A study in John 4:4-42

will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I
give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give
them will become in them a spring of water welling
up to eternal life.´ John 4:13-14

³Todo el que beba de esta agua volverá a tener sed
²respondió Jesús², pero el que beba del agua que
yo le daré, no volverá a tener sed jamás, sino que
dentro de él esa agua se convertirá en un manantial
del que brotará vida eterna.´ Juan 4:13-14

C. Well water is offered

1. La barrera entre etnias es rota.
a. Como judío, no le tocaba asociarse nunca
con un samaritano.
2. La barrera religiosa es rota.
a. Un rabino no le hablaba a una mujer en
público.
3. ¿Cual barrera necesitas romper?

inmigrantes indocumentados, apariencia
b. ¿Quién es mi prójimo? Parábola del ³Buen´
samaritano. Mi prójimo es cualquiera que
tenga necesidad y a quien yo pueda ayudar.
C. El agua del pozo es ofrecida
³Si supieras lo que Dios puede dar, y conocieras al
que te está pidiendo agua ²contestó Jesús², tú le
habrías pedido a él, y él te habría dado agua que da
vida.´ v10
1. El estaba en el lugar apropiado y ciertamente la
había impresionado con romper las barreras
conocidas. Pero aún más, el ofreció la esperanza
de agua viva.

D. The well water is received

verse 15
1. Jesus persisted
³<HWDWLPHLVFRPLQJDQGKDVQRZFRPHZKHQ
the true worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and truth, for they are the kind of
worshipers the Father seeks.´ Verse 23
2. She was able to understand his teaching.

E. Ripples from the well

1. Jesus and the woman shared the ripple effect
from their testimony.

F. The message of the well is personal

said, now we have heard for ourselves, and we
know that this man really is the Savior of the

1. We heard for ourselves and we each must drink
the living water.
2. -DFRE¶VZHOOZDVDIDPLO\WUDGLWLRQEXWOLYLQJ
water reaches us individually.
³They urged him to stay with WKHP´
3. Staying in the presence of God and drinking
from him creates intimacy.
G. Well water will flow
³If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink.
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
streams of living water will flow from within him.´
John 7:37-38

from within.

D. El agua del pozo es recibida
³Señor, dame de esa agua para que no vuelva a
tener sed...´ versículo 15
1. Jesús insistió
³Pero se acerca la hora, y ha llegado ya, en que
los verdaderos adoradores rendirán culto al
Padre en espíritu y en verdad, porque así quiere
el Padre que sean los que le adoren.´ vs 23
2. Ella pudo comprender sus enseñanzas.
³Ése soy yo, el que habla contigo ²le dijo
Jesús.´ versículo 26
E. Repercusiones del pozo
³y muchos más llegaron a creer por lo que él
mismo decía.´ versículo 41
1. Jesús y la mujer compartieron los efectos de su
testimonio.
2. Tu vida tiene repercusiones. ¿Qué efectos
acarrea? ______________________________

F. El mensaje del pozo es personal
³Ya no creemos sólo por lo que tú dijiste ²le
decían a la mujer²; ahora lo hemos oído nosotros
mismos, y sabemos que verdaderamente éste es el
Salvador del mundo.´ versículo 42
1. Hemos oído nosotros mismos y cada uno
debemos beber el agua viva.
2. El pozo de Jacob era una tradición de familia,
pero el agua viva nos llega individualmente.
³...insistieron en que se quedara con ellos.´ vs.
40b
3. Permaneciendo en la presencia de Dios y
bebiendo de El, crea intimidad.
G. El agua de pozo fluye
³¡Si alguno tiene sed, que venga a mí y beba! De
aquel que cree en mí, como dice la Escritura,
brotarán ríos de agua viva.´ Juan 7:37-38
1. No te lo puedes guardar, porque brota desde
adentro.
