City of Lawrence and Lupoli Companies Partner for Auxiliary Win-Win
August 27, 2014, Lawrence, MA- Today Mayor Dan Rivera, along with Lupoli Companies
Founder & CEO, Sal Lupoli, announced the opening of the Lawrence Auxiliary Police Station at
the Riverwalk Complex, the flagship development of Lupoli’s real estate business. The new
office will provide much needed space for the 35-officer Auxiliary Police squad to coordinate all
of their daily functions. The location is being provided by Lupoli Companies at no cost to the
City.
“This arrangement is truly a win-win for all involved,” said Mayor Rivera. “The Auxiliary
Police get the space they need to run their operations at no cost to the city, while the folks at the
Riverwalk get a greater security presence on-site. This is a great partnership that expands our
public safety footprint without adding dollars to the city budget.”
Lupoli concurred, “I am thrilled to have the men and women of the Auxiliary Police on-site at
the Riverwalk, and am happy to contribute in a way that helps the Mayor’s and City Council’s
efforts to increase public safety in the city.”
The space is approximately 700 s.f., and consists of a lobby, 2 offices, a conference room, and
storage area. The Lawrence Auxiliary Police will utilize the space as a daily command and
control center, and a place to schedule details and store vehicles and equipment. Chief of the
Lawrence Auxiliary Police, Carlos Garcia added, “This new space is critical in helping us
provide the best service we can to residents of Lawrence by allowing us to operate in a
professional and organized manner.”
The Lawrence Auxiliary Police Force is an organization of 35 trained, dedicated volunteer
officers committed to the safety and well-being of the citizens of Lawrence. Its primary goal is to
“assist and augment” the sworn force to help make the City of Lawrence a safer community in
which to live. Established in 1950, Lawrence Auxiliary Police Officers have provided a wide
variety of services to the Lawrence Police Department and the City. In addition to patrolling
municipal buildings, parks, playgrounds, and other public places, they provide traffic support for
road and bicycle races, parades, municipal events and church functions.

La Ciudad de Lawrence y Las Empresas Lupoli se Asocian Para Beneficio de la Policía
Auxiliar
27 de agosto del 2014, Lawrence, MA-Hoy el alcalde Dan Rivera, junto al Sal Lupoli fundador y
Director Ejecutivo , de las Compañías Lupoli, anunciaron la apertura de la Estación de la
Policía Auxiliar de Lawrence ubicada en el complejo comercial localizado en el Riverwalk, el
cual es puntero en el desarrollo de los negocios de Bienes Raíces Lupoli. La nueva oficina
proporcionará el espacio necesario para 35-oficiales que actualmente integran el Pelotón de la
Policía Auxiliar y también servirá para coordinar todas sus funciones diarias. El local está siendo
prestado por las compañías Lupoli sin costo alguno para el Ayuntamiento de la cuidad.
"Este acuerdo es verdaderamente beneficioso para todos los involucrados", dijo el alcalde
Rivera. "La Policía Auxiliar conseguirá el espacio que necesita para ejecutar sus operaciones sin
ningún costo para la ciudad, mientras que los usuarios del complejo comercial localizado en el
Riverwalk obtendrán una mayor seguridad pública. Esta asociación aumenta la seguridad
pública, y no añade gastos al presupuesto de la ciudad”.
Lupoli estuvo de acuerdo: "Estoy muy emocionado de poder tener los hombres y mujeres de la
Policía Auxiliar en el complejo comercial del Riverwalk, estoy feliz de contribuir y ayudar al
Consejo de la Cuidad y al Alcalde en este esfuerzo de aumentar la seguridad pública."
El espacio es de aproximadamente 700 pies cuadrados, y consta de una sala de entrada, 2
oficinas, una salón de conferencias, y el área de almacenamiento. La Policía Auxiliar de
Lawrence utilizará diariamente el espacio como un comando, como el centro de control, y un
lugar para planificación y para estacionamiento vehículos y equipos. El Jefe de la Policía
Auxiliar de Lawrence, Carlos García añadió: "Este nuevo espacio es fundamental para ayudar a
proporcionar el mejor servicio posible a los residentes de Lawrence porque nos permitirá operar
de una manera profesional y organizada."
