Regular cervical cancer screening can lower your
chance of getting cervical cancer. A yearly Pap smear
test can find certain cells that can turn into cancer.
It’s just a 10-minute appointment, but it can save your
life. That’s a good investment.
With free cervical cancer screenings* available at participating providers, there’s no reason to wait. The
sooner you have a screening, the greater your chances are of finding cancer in early stages and making a
full recovery . It’s your life. Go live it.

*Limited to uninsured and underinsured women & men age 18 to 64 with income less than 250% of federal poverty guidelines who receive cancer screening at
one of the participating provider sites in Union County. Cervical cancer screening age limits are 21 to 64. The number of women & men who will receive free
cancer screening at these sites is limited by the availability of public funds to pay for these services.
This program is administered through Hoboken Family Planning.

Las pruebas de detección del cáncer de cuello uterino
puede reducer la probabilidad de contraer cáncer. Una
prueba de Papanicolaou anual pueden encontrar ciertas
células que pueden convertirse en cáncer.
