Abstract text must have the general characteristics written below.
 Preferred language is English.
 Word format. V 97-2003 or recent.
 Size page letter, margins adjusted in 2.5 cm in four sizes.
 Abstract text justified in two columns. Font Arial 10
 No indentations. No space between lines neither paragraphs.
 Subtitle of each abstract component in bold letter.
 References with numeration in parenthesis (1, 2) according its citation in text. Font. Arial 8
 If graphs or tables are included use Arial font 9

Introduction. Write a brief explanation of the
research context. Objective should be written on
a separate paragraph just below the
introduction.
Methods. Explain work strategy and report
references Don’t describe techniques step by
step. Write scientific names in italics, chemical
formulae and abbreviations should be used
(mg/L, %).
Results and Discussion.. Describe your
results clearly and concisely. Do not repeat the
information in tables within the results or
discussion. Do not shade cells or use vertical
lines in tables.
References. They have to be ordered numerically following
Figures in text must fit with the abstract format.
Write proper units, numbers and symbols so they
can be read and understood easily.

The Scientific committee of the XI International
Symposium on Aquatic Nutrition will review the
abstracts. Abstracts must be submitted before
deadline date July 31, 2011. Abstract content
is author(s) responsibility.
Abstracts with graphs or tables don’t be bigger
than 2 pages. Those without this content don’t
exceed one page.
Authors presenting more than one work need to
submit only one registration form.

FORMATO DEL RESUMEN
El texto del resumen debe ajustarse a las siguientes características generales:
 Preferentemente debe estar escrito en inglés.
 Formato Word 97 – 2003 o más reciente
 Tamaño carta con márgenes a 2.5 cm.
 Texto del cuerpo del resumen justificado, a dos columnas con fuente Arial 10
 Sin sangrías ni espacio entre párrafos.
 Subítulo en cada uno de los componentes del resumen en negritas,
 Referencias numeradas en paréntesis (1,2) de acuerdo al orden en que aparezcan en el texto.

Introducción. Explicar brevemente el contexto en
el cual se basa la realización del trabajo.
Debe plantearse claramente el objetivo en un
párrafo aparte.
Método. Explicar la estrategia del trabajo y
reportar referencias. No describir paso a paso
las técnicas. Escribir nombres científicos en
cursivas. Las fórmulas matemáticas deben
estar editadas y escritas con el editor de

Los resúmenes serán revisados por el Comité
Científico Internacional del XI Simposio
Internacional de Nutrición Acuícola. Los
resúmenes deben de ser sometidos antes de la
fecha límite 31 de julio de 2011. El
contenido del resumen es responsabilidad de
los autores. Los resúmenes que presenten
gráficas o tablas no deben exceder de dos
cuartillas, los que no agreguen figuras deberán
tener una extensión máxima de una cuartilla.
Los autores que presenten más de un trabajo,
solo requieren registrarse una sola ocasión.
