X IBERO-AMERICAN CONGRESS ON MEMBRANE SCIENCE AND
TECHNOLOGY
AND
VI CONGRESO NACIONAL DE LA SOCIEDAD MEXICANA DE
CIENCIA Y TECNOLOGÍA DE MEMBRANAS, A.C.
May 22 – 25, 2016. Ciudad de México, Mexico
We are delighted to invite you to the X Ibero-American Congress on Membrane
Science and Technology (CITEM 2016) in conjunction with the VI Congreso Nacional
de La Sociedad Mexicana de Ciencia y Tecnología de Membranas (SMCYTM), A.C.
to be held on 22-25 May 2016 in Mexico City, Mexico. CITEM is an international
forum for scientists and technicians from Ibero-American countries to meet and
discuss the latest research trends and technologies used in membrane processes.
SMCYTM is a Mexican Membrane Society aiming to stimulate scientific and
technological research, to promote scientific and academic collaboration, and to
contribute to the solution of today’s problems with the aid of membranes and
membrane processes. The agenda of the Congress will include several thematic
areas such as membrane synthesis, fabrication, modification and characterization, as
well as industrial applications of membrane technologies in fields such as water
treatment, desalination and gas separation, among others. These topics will be
covered by plenary sessions with invited lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions
and discussions, and social events.
Scientist and technicians from all over the world are, as usual, also invited. Come to
Mexico and make the X Ibero-American Congress on Membrane Science and
Technology and the VI Congreso Nacional de La Sociedad Mexicana de Ciencia y
Tecnología de Membranas, A.C. another vibrant, highly productive, and strong event
for the membrane community.
