A gift for your
Mother
A novena of Masses will be
commemorated in loving Thanksgiving for all mothers everywhere. Those wishing to enroll their mothers living or deceased in the novena can
get cards and envelopes at Book Store or at the rectory
during the week, suggested donation is $5.00 per
intention. The novena will begin on Mother’s Day,
May 8th. On this special day of the year dedicated to
all mothers, we can think of no better way to express
the love we have for mother than enroll her into the
Novena.

Infant should not have reached the age of
six, or entering first grade. Otherwise, the
child should be in Religious Education

pre-baptismal class or have a recent one (no more
than two year old)
3. $40.00 stipend for each child

St. Joseph Elementary Catholic School admits

school does not discriminate against any applicant or

the administration of its educational policies, scholarship
programs, athletic, and other school administered

Acceptance
As Roman Catholics, dedicated to the God-given
dignity of every human being, we state clearly that there
are no discrimination practices in our enrollment policy
due to race, ethnic , background, social or economic
status in any decision-making. Since we are a Catholic
religious oriented school founded for the St. Joseph
Catholic Church Parish, we give preference to members
of the St. Joseph Parish and to members of the Roman
Catholic Church, but we welcome members of other
creeds once our Catholic applicants have been served.
While St. Joseph Elementary School does not offer a
special needs program, it will attempt to make reasonable accommodations for otherwise qualified applicants.
St. Joseph Elementary School cannot accept students
with severe academic or behavioral problems. To insure
proper grade placement, new students entering Grade 2-8
take a religion, math and reading test based on the St.
Joseph Elementary School curriculum. Prior to entrance
to first grade, new students are administered a Readiness
Test and Maturity Screening Test. All kindergarten
applicants are administered a Maturity Screening Test.

First Annual Mother’s Day Tea
You are all invited to attend the First Mother’s
Day Tea sponsored by our school. Bring your
mom, grandmother, aunt, and women who are
special in your faith journey. First come, first
served. The fee is $15.00 per person which
includes salad, tea sandwiches, dessert, and a tea
beverage. Program and raffles! This is an event
for the whole family….sons and fathers
included! Appropriate attire for this occasion
will be semi-formal. If interested, please call the
