Attention Parents! We’re Having Another Computer Event!
We are very excited that we are partnering with Computers 2 SD Kids (C2SDK), Cox Communications, and the
San Diego Police Foundation, to provide our families with affordable systems, internet and access to training.
Parents have the opportunity to purchase a refurbished computer with LCD monitor with a one year guarantee
for $65 at our upcoming “joint event” with Granger Junior High. Here is a description of the computer:
Desktop with LCD Monitor - $65 – CASH ONLY (NO credit cards/checks)
• Pentium IV/Core2 or higher
• 80 GB Hard Drive or larger
• 2 GB Ram
• Microsoft Windows 7
• Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010
• PowerMyLearning Educational Software
• 1 Year free tech support
• After first year – lifetime tech support/replacement at $20 per call
Parents will also have the ability to sign up for Cox for $9.95 per month for two years if the family has not
subscribed to Cox Internet Services within the past 90 days. The family must have no outstanding bills or
unreturned equipment with Cox. The event is scheduled as follows:
WHERE: El Toyon Elementary School, 2000 E. Division Street, National City
WHEN: Wednesday, April 16, 2:30-4:30pm
HOW CAN I GET A COMPUTER/INTERNET: Contact your school office staff to
submit your name. You MUST be on the sign up sheet prior to the event and
complete an application. Show up at the event on the date and time scheduled.
