La identificación
Definition: The verb ser is used to identified (identificación). Identify something that’s permanent about person, place or thing.

Ella es la tÍa de Lila.

Nosotros somos los hermanos de Yolanda.

Cumpleaños
Definition: To show birthdates ( cumpleaños- birthdate) follow by the verb ser is used to show when someone was born.
●
El cumpleaños de ella es el dos de enero.
●
El cumpleaños de mi madre es el diecinueve de mayo.
La hora y la fecha
Definition: The verb ser is used to tell the time. Hoy + the verb ser is used to tell the date.

Definition: The verb ser is used to tell about events. Tells where the event going to be:

Origen vs. localización
Origen (origin) using the verb ser ,is telling where someone or something was made or from. The origin is something that’s
permanent, it can’t be change. (example:you can not change where you come from- that’s your origin)
Localización (location) using the estar , is telling where someone is at for the instant. The location is not permanent it can be
changed. (example: I can be standing in 56th street but I can move to 52th street)

Las características vs. las condiciones
Las características (characteristic) is telling how someone or something is, it’s permanently. Using the verb ser, characteris is
something permanent about the person or thing.
Las condiciones (conditions) is telling how someone or something is however it’s not permanent. Using the verb estar show
conditions with is not permanent for example someone feelings.
