Sub for Santa es un programa temporal navideño de ayuda, donde se asignan
patrocinadores a las familias que tienen necesidad.
● ¿Cómo se califica para Sub for Santa?
El propósito del programa de Sub for Santa es proveer regalos básicos para los niños entre las edades
de 18 meses y 14 años (niños mayores posiblemente pueden calificar si tienen hermanos menores).
Una familia tiene que tener por lo menos un hijo entre éstas edades para ser considerada para Sub for
Santa. Numerosos factores de elegibilidad serán considerados, como ingresos, gastos, incapacidades
físicas individuales y otras circunstancias excepcionales.
● ¿Cómo se solicita la ayuda?
Cada solicitante deberá atender a un taller. Llame al 801-356-6200 para escuchar a un mensaje
grabado que le explicará los detalles del programa y lo que tiene que traer consigo al taller. ¡Hay
mucha información, así que venga preparado para poder apuntarla! Solamente se distribuirán las
solicitudes durante en el taller de Sub for Santa. ¡No espere más! El programa se cerrará al principio
de diciembre.
● ¿Qué hacen en los talleres?
Maestros voluntarios les ensenarán destrezas de auto suficiencia e ideas para establecer tradiciones
navideñas sin costo. Completará y entregará la solicitud al voluntario quien verificará la requerida
información e identificación. No se permiten niños. Favor planee una niñera de antemano.
● ¿Qué necesito traer para aplicar?
1. Una identificación personal con foto.
2. Identificación de todos los niños para los que usted está aplicando. Puede ser documento
original o copia de los certificados de nacimiento, de bautizo u otra identificación de la
escuela. Cualquiera de estos documentos que nos muestre la fecha de nacimiento de su
niño(a).
3. Verificación de su ingreso laboral mensual. Traer prueba verificable de sus últimos cheques
de pago o una carta de su empleador donde indique su ingreso mensual. Si Ud. está
recibiendo asistencia como: Medicaid, asistencia de vivienda o alguna ayuda de la su Iglesia,
por favor traer la prueba de cada una de ellas.
4. Prueba de su dirección actual, donde este incluido su nombre (cualquier recibo de pago o su
contrato de renta).
5. Información de sus niños(as) como: las fechas de nacimiento, tallas de ropa, talla de zapatos y
una lista de las cosas que más necesitan en Navidad.

Sub for Santa and Angel Tree assistance in Utah
County is now available!
Sub for Santa is a temporary Christmas assistance program that matches sponsors with
families from Utah County in need of help.
● How does a family qualify for Sub for Santa?
The purpose of the Sub for Santa program is to provide basic gifts for children between 18
months and 14 years of age (older children may qualify if they have younger siblings). In order to
be considered for Sub for Santa, a family must have at least one child between these ages.
Numerous eligibility factors will be taken into consideration including income and expenses,
individual disabilities and other unusual circumstances.
● How do I apply?
Each applicant must attend a workshop. Call 801-356-6200 to listen to a recorded message that
will explain the details of the program and what you need to bring. There is a lot of information,
so be ready to take notes so you can come prepared. Applications are only distributed at Sub for
Santa workshops. Don’t delay! The program closes in early December.
● What happens at the workshops?
Volunteer instructors will teach self-sufficiency skills and share ideas about establishing no-cost
Christmas traditions. You will complete the application and turn it in at the workshop. No
children are allowed at the workshops. Please arrange for a babysitter ahead of time.
● What do I need to bring to apply?
1. Picture ID of yourself.
2. ID for all children for whom you are applying. This can be original or certified copies of
birth certificates, baptismal papers, or school ID. Whatever you bring must show a date
of birth.
3. Income Verification: Please bring proof of your income from the last 30 days. This
should be your last two current pay stubs or a letter from your employer stating your
monthly income. If you are receiving other assistance such as Medicaid, housing, or help
from your church, family, etc., you must bring proof of that.
4. Proof of current address with your name on it – a bill or lease agreement.
5. Children’s Information: Come prepared to report your children’s birth dates, clothing
sizes, shoe sizes, and the items they need most for Christmas.
