C OURSE OBJECTIVES :







To teach parenting skills in order to
increase the effectiveness of parenting
from two homes.
To make parents aware of the impact of
parental conflict on the children
To assist parentsin keeping children out
of the middle of conflicts.
To help parents identify and meet the
needs of their children.
To encourage positive involvement of
both parents in the lives of their
children.
To provide information about the range,
availability, and means to evaluate
community resources.
To enable parents to develop a personal
action plan related to their coparenting.

Class Schedule: First Saturday of the month
From: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Cost: Costs are based on applicant’s income.
All attendees who complete the required four
hours of training will receive a certificate of
completion and copy of the book Co-Parenting:
two parents, two homes.

This class meets the parent
education guidelines developed by
the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Horario de Clases: El primer Sabado de cada
mes, de 9.00 am a 1.00 pm
Costo: Esta basado segun los ingresos del
participante.
Todos los participantes que completen las
cuatro horas de clases recibiran un certificado y
un copia del libra crianza compartidas.
OBJETIVOS DEL CURSO:







Enseñar habilidades a los padres con el
fin de aumentar la eficacia de la crianza
de los hijos que viven en dos hogares.
Concientizar a los padres de la
repercusión de los conflictos en los hijos
Ayudar a los padres a mantener a los
niños fuera de los conflictos.
Ayudar a los padres a identificar y
satisfacer las necesidades de sus hijos.
Fomentar la participación positiva de
ambos padres en las vidas de sus hijos.
Proporcionar información sobre recursos
disponibles en la comunidad.
Permitir a los padres desarrollar un
plan de acción personal para mejorar la
relación con el otro padre de sus hijos.
