Students studying under the educational systems of the countries listed in
Annex 1 may be admitted to a Spanish university without having to take a
university entrance exam, provided these students are also academically
qualified to begin university studies in their own countries.
The established procedure is compatible with that of other university admissions
systems. However, students can only apply for admission on a course in one academic
year through a specific admissions system.
Students who have already been admitted to a Spanish university through a different
system, cannot then apply for admission through this specific admissions system.
The Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) (National Distance
Education University) is responsible for the verification of compliance with the
university access requirements. Students who wish to apply through this system should
present their application online, following the instructions and within the deadlines set
by the university, on the web page: www.uned.es/accesoUE
Once the application has been verified, the UNED shall, where appropriate, issue a
credential stating that the applicant meets the requirements for admission to their home
country’s educational system and which will then allow access to the Spanish university
system.
Students taking a university course in their country corresponding to vocational
training, art and design or sports subjects, need prior verification by the Ministry of
Education that admissions requirements have been met.
This credential will give the holder access to Spanish universities and will be valid for
the purpose of admission and enrolment for two years from the date of issue.
Students who choose to take the specific entrance test can do this through the UNED
or at the Spanish university of their choice.
Once the credential has been obtained, applicants can then complete the preregistration procedure within the dates set by the Comisión de Distrito Único de
Andalucía, (Commission of the Common University District of Andalusia), on the web
page:
