Dear Families,
We have had a very busy for quarter. I would like to thank all of the families who
were able to participate in Parent/Teacher conferences last week. This collaborative
time gives the teachers the opportunity to let you know how the children are doing in
the first four and a half weeks of the school year. It is our hope that by answering
questions about your child's progress we have been able to help him or her be
more successful. If you were unable to meet with your child's teachers please
contact them via email or by phone to set up a time to meet.
Volunteering is another way that you can help out at school. We are always in need
of parents to chaperone on field trips, help in the classroom, or help with after school
programming. If this is something that you feel you would like to do, please stop in
the main office and fill out a volunteer application. As needed volunteers will be
contacted and invited to come and join us at Holy Cross. It is very important that all
interested volunteers complete Safe and Sacred. This online course can be found
at https://safeandsacred-archindy.org. You will be asked to register for the course.
As part of the registration process you will fill out information to have a background
check completed. These two components: Safe and Sacred and the background
check are mandatory for anyone who has contact with the children. It takes a minimum of 24 to 48 hours for a background to be returned to us. So that you do not
have to miss out on any of your child's fun activities please fill these form out as
soon as possible.
Twice a year parents area required to sign the Choice Charitable Trust
Scholarships. These are the vouchers. These vouchers pay for up to 90% of a student's tuition. Most of the vouchers were signed during Parent/Teacher conferences.
If you did not attend conferences or did not receive the form to sign stop by the office. We have a limited time to get this information back to the Indiana Department
of Education. Thanks for your help in this matter.
Finally, I would like to thank you for your patience in our transition to a Notre Dame
ACE Academy. Everything we do is to support children and learning. I know some
changes have been subtle and some major but am very happy

Queridos familias,
Hemos tenido un muy ocupado por trimestre. Me gustaría dar las gracias a todas las familias que
pudieron participar en las conferencias de padre/maestro la semana pasada. Este tiempo de colaboración da a los profesores la oportunidad de saber cómo están haciendo los niños en las primeras semanas de cuatro y medio del año escolar. Es nuestra esperanza que al responder preguntas
sobre el progreso de su hijo hemos podido ayudarle a ser más exitosos. Si no pudo reunirse con
su hijo por favor en contacto con ellos vía correo electrónico o por teléfono para fijar una hora para
resolver.
Tiempo voluntario es otra manera de que puede ayudar en la escuela. Siempre estamos necesitando los padres acompañen en viajes de campo, ayudar en el aula, o ayudar con después de la
programación de la escuela. Si esto es algo que sientes que gustaría hacer, por favor pase a la

great success! As we bring the Candy bar sale to an end, we ask for all candy bar money
