NOTICE OF ORDER AND CALL OF MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS FUND
BUDGET REVENUE CONTROL LIMIT
OVERRIDE ELECTION FOR
LITTLETON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 65
OF MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF LITTLETON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT
NO. 65 OF MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA:
A budget override question will be included on the ballot for the special election to be held on
November 3, 2015 (the “Election”). The purpose of the Election is to permit qualified electors of
Littleton Elementary School District No. 65 of Maricopa County, Arizona (the “District”), to vote
specifically on the following question:
SHALL THE GOVERNING BOARD OF LITTLETON ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 65 OF MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA (THE “SCHOOL
DISTRICT”), ADOPT MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS BUDGETS WHICH ALLOW
THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO EXCEED THE REVENUE CONTROL LIMIT SPECIFIED BY
LAW IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT MORE THAN FIFTEEN PERCENT (15%) PER FISCAL
YEAR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016/2017 AND THE NEXT SUBSEQUENT SIX (6) FISCAL
YEARS THEREAFTER?
THE 2016/2017 PROPOSED CONTINUATION OF THE BUDGET INCREASE
OF THE PROPOSED BUDGET OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL EXCEED THE
ALTERNATE PROPOSED BUDGET OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BY APPROXIMATELY
$0.00. THE PROPOSED INCREASE IN FUTURE YEARS WILL BE BASED ON A
PERCENTAGE OF THE DISTRICT’S REVENUE CONTROL LIMIT AS PROVIDED IN
SECTION 15-481(P), ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES FOR THIS PURPOSE.
Any budget increase continuation authorized by this election shall
be entirely funded by a levy of taxes on the taxable property in this
school district for the year for which adopted and for six subsequent
years, shall not be realized from monies furnished by the state and
shall not be subject to the limitation on taxes specified in Article IX,
Section 18, Constitution of Arizona. Based on the current net
assessed valuation used for secondary property tax purposes, to fund
the proposed continuation of the increase in the school district’s
budget would require an estimated continuation of a tax rate of
$1.6955 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation used for
secondary property tax purposes and is in addition to the school
district’s tax rate which will be levied to fund the school district’s
revenue control limit allowed by law.

The Election shall be held at the polling places for the precincts indicated in the
Informational Report to be mailed to the residence of each registered voter in the District not less
than thirty five (35) days before the date of the Election which shall be open at 6:00 a.m. and close
at 7:00 p.m. Early/absentee voting shall be permitted in accordance with the provisions of Title
16, Chapter 4, Article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes and early/absentee voting information may be

Se incluirá una pregunta sobre el aumento al presupuesto en la boleta para la elección especial que

PRESUPUESTO PROPUESTO ALTERNO DEL DISTRITO ESCOLAR POR
APROXIMADAMENTE $0.00. EN LOS AÑOS FUTUROS, EL PROPUESTO AUMENTO SE
BASARÁ EN UN PORCENTAJE DEL LÍMITE DE CONTROL DE INGRESOS DEL
DISTRITO DE ACUERDO A LO ESTIPULADO EN LA SECCIÓN 15-481(P), ESTATUTOS
REVISADOS DE ARIZONA PARA ESTE PROPÓSITO.
Cualquier continuación de aumento de presupuesto autorizado por
esta elección estará totalmente financiada por un aumento de
impuestos a propiedades sujetas a impuestos dentro de este distrito
escolar para el año en el que se adopte y por seis años subsiguientes,
no se llevará a cabo con dineros suministrados por el estado y no
estará sujeto al límite de impuestos especificado en el Artículo IX,
Sección 18, Constitución de Arizona. Con base a la actual
valoración neta tasada usada para fines de impuestos secundarios a
la propiedad, para financiar la propuesta continuación del aumento
en el presupuesto del distrito escolar se calcula que se requeriría la
continuación de un índice de impuestos de $1.6955 por cien dólares
de valoración tasada usada para fines de impuestos secundarios a la
propiedad y es además del índice de impuestos del distrito escolar
que se aumentará para financiar el límite de control de ingresos del
distrito escolar que permite la ley.

La Elección se llevará a cabo en los lugares de votación para los recintos indicados
en el Reporte Informativo que se enviará por correo al domicilio de cada votante inscrito en el
Distrito por lo menos treinta y cinco (35) días antes de la fecha de la Elección la cual se abrirá a
las 6:00 a.m. y se cerrará a las 7:00 p.m. Se permitirá votación temprana/en ausencia de acuerdo
a las estipulaciones del Título 16, Capítulo 4, Artículo 8, Estatutos Revisados de Arizona y se
puede obtener información sobre votación temprana/en ausencia comunicándose con Maricopa
