SRC DECCO
WASTE WATER RECOVERY SYSTEM
Objective of SRC DECCO (Waste Water Recovery System)
Zero residual wastage
Recover 100% of the residual waste water
Reduce solids in suspension to a minimum
Avoid the proliferation of bacteria and spores
Save money by minimizing the consumption of fungicides with more uniform
treatments.
Zero residual wastage
Along with the Drencher tank and a dosifier
for phytosanitary products, the system forms
a close circuit without any residual wastage.
Suspension solids and organic matter are
collected
in
a
big-bag
for subsequent
handling by an authorized company.
100% recovery of residual wastage
The system pumps the waste water with its
respective sludge by a press filter which retains
any contaminating matter thus allowing 100% of
soluble fungicides such as Imazalil, guazatine and
fosetyl Al to pass.

Reduction of suspension solids
to a
minimum.
The filter press system not only allows for the
retention of suspended solids, but it also
presses them into a compact material that
dries
over
time,
thus
preventing
the
accumulation of significant volumes and
reducing the removal costs to a minimum.
Microbiological control
Although the press filter acts as a barrier for
the majority of fungi spores, including
Penicillium, when the pallets are processed, a
disinfectant is added during the topping up
process of the treatment solution which
allows the control of pathogenes during the
working day until the emptying of the residual waste water to the SRC system for recovery.
Save money by minimizing the consumption of fungicides with more uniform treatments
The initial filling of the drencher tank is performed with a recovered solution that already has
the adequate concentration of fungicides without requiring the addition of further products
(except for thiabendazole) thus obtaining a saving by avoiding residual wastage containing
fungicides. Furthermore it allows solutions to be renewed on the same day (once a certain

In the residual wastage, values between 0 to 1 UFC/ml have been obtained (units of
formation of colonies per millilitre of solution)
In the recovered solution: 0 UFC/ml
(in all samples taken)

Filter pancakes
The filter press was opened to remove the solid pancakes retained after
approximately 7.000 lt. of solution had been processed.
The amount of residue generated depends of the dirtiness of the boxes on arrival,
which could vary between 2 and 4 kg. of residue for every 1.000 lt. of solution.
Average number of pallets treated before recovery: 100 pallets
