BARTEK RECREATION CENTER
REGULATIONS FOR USE
All requirements set forth below must be accepted and met as a condition to the use of the Bartek
Recreation Center, 81 Pine Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts.
1. BUILDING USAGE The building or property shall not be used for any purpose not directly
related to Recreation Center activities without written permission from the Director of Recreation.
2. INTERFERENCE WITH RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITIES No permission shall be granted
for the use of the Recreation Center at such time and in such manner as to interfere with Recreation
Center activities, regular or special.
3. LIMITATION OF USE No portion of the Recreation Center shall be used for political purposes
including but not limited to political rallies, speeches, fundraisers, etc.
4. RESPONSIBLE PERSON A person designated by the user of the facility shall sign for said user
as being personally responsible for any damage to the facility or personal injury suffered by
attendees. The user shall assume all liabilities for any occurrence during or after the use of the
Recreation Center. The person securing said permission shall be responsible for the removal of all
outside property and the return of all usual furniture, equipment, etc., to its proper place before
leaving the building.
5. DAMAGES In the event that any damage occurs or it is determined that articles of furnishings or
equipment are missing, the full cost to repair, replace or clean shall be the responsibility of the user.
6. LOCAL AND STATE LICENSES AND PERMITS Permission from the Director for the use of
the Recreation Center shall not relieve the user from the obligation of obtaining any and all
necessary local or state licenses and permits, nor from any taxes.
7. NO SMOKING POLICY No smoking shall be allowed at any time on within the Recreation
Center.
8. NO ALCOHOL POLICY No alcoholic beverages are allowed on city property, or in any city
building, except by vote of the Municipal Council.
9. DRUG-FREE POLICY It is the policy of the City of Attleboro to prohibit the unlawful use, sale,
dispensing, possession or manufacture if illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages at any public building.
It is also prohibited to be “under the influence” of illegal drugs or alcohol while using the
Recreation Center.
10. CHARGES Any charges are payable in advance with checks made payable to the City of
Attleboro Recreation Department.
11. REQUEST FOR USE All requests for use of the Recreation Center shall be in writing, signed by
the applicant, and addressed to the Director of Recreation. The request shall include the name of
the person who will be responsible during the time the building is being used.
12. CONTRACT TERMINATION The Attleboro Recreation Department reserves the right to
terminate a rental contract with a minimum notice of two weeks.
Armory Centro De Recreacion
Reglas Para Uso De Permisos
Todos los requisitos gue estan devajo deben ser aceptados como condicion para usar el Armory
Centro de Recreacion, 81 Pine Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.

USO DEL EDIFICIO: La propiedad de este edificio no debe ser usado para ningun proposito
gue no sea directamente relacionado con las actividades del Centro de Recreacion sin un permiso escrito
por el Director de Recreacion.

INTERFERIR CON ACTIVIDADES DEL CENTRO DE RECREACION: No se le puede dar
permiso para usar El Centro de Recreacion cuando hay actividades en el Centro de Recreacion, sean
regulares o especiales.

USO LIMITADO: Ninguna parte del Centro de Recreacion debe usarse para propositos
politicos como reunions para hacer campanas politicas o actividades para recaudar fondos, etc…

PERSONA RESPONSIBLE: La persona designada para usar las facilidades debe firmar y es la
persona responsible por algun dano a la facilidad o algun golpe personal de los asistentes. Los gue lo
usan deben asumir todas las obligaciones por alguna ocurrencia durante o despues del uso del Centro de
Recreacion. La persona gue saco permiso debe ser responsible de remover las pro piedades afuera y
devolver toda la furnituro, equipaje gue ha usado etc. al sitio apropiado anters de irse del edifisio.

DANOS: En caso de gue ocurra un dano o esta determinado gue articulos o equipaje esta
desaparecido, el costo de repararlo, limpiarlo o reemplasarlo debe ser responsabidad del gue lo usa.

LICENSIAS Y PERMISOS LOCALES Y DEL ESTADO: Permiso del Director para el uso
del Centro de Recreacion no debe prohibir a los gue lo usan la obligacion de obtener ninguna otras
licencias del estado o permisos necesarios o de cualguiera de los taxes.

NO FUMAR: Fumar no esta permitido en ningun momento ni en ninguno de los pisos del
Centro de Recreacion.

NO ALCOHOL: Bebidas alcoholicas estan prohiuidas en la propiedad de la ciudad, o en
edificios de la ciudad, excepto por votos del Consejo Municipal.

POLIZA DE DROGAS: Esta prohivido en La Ciudad de Attleboro el uso, ventas, distribuir
poseer o hacer drogas ilegales o bebidas alcoholicas en ningun edificio publico. Ademos esta prohivido
estar bajo las influencias de drogas ilegales o alchol mientras estan usando El Centro de Recreacion.

COSTO: Cualguier costo debe ser pagado adelantado con chegues hechos a la Ciudad de
Attleboro, Departamento de Recreacion.

PERMISO PARA USARLO: Toda persona gue guiera pedir permiso para usar el Centro de
Recreacion debe escribirlo, firmado por el gue aplica y dirigido al Director de Recreacion. Debe estar
incluido en la aplicacion el nombre de la persona gue sera responsible durante el tiempo gue sera
responsible durante el tiempo gue el edificio sera usado.

TERMINACION DEL CONTRATE: El Departamento de Recreacion de Attleboro tiene el
derecho de terminar el contrato de renta con una noticia minima de 2 semanas.
