Improved Sensitivity for Remote Control Applications in Consumer
Products
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces that it is
upgrading the capabilities of its popular TSOP36... series of
miniature surface-mount IR receivers for infrared remote control
applications in consumer products. With a minimum irradiance of

0.12 mW/m , the TSOP36… series now offers a 20 % improvement
in sensitivity over previous generation devices, and incorporates an
improved optical filter again IR 3D TV signals and other noise.

photo detector and preamplifier circuit mounted within a 4-pin epoxy package.
