LEA LAS SIGUIENTES INSTRUCCIONES
A continuación va a realizar una prueba que contiene dos ejercicios de comprensión de lectura.
Los ejercicios tienen la siguiente estructura: se presentan unos textos y se especifican unas tareas que deberá realizar en
relación a dichos textos. Las tareas o preguntas serán del siguiente tipo:

Pregunta de relacionar. Se presentan una serie de extractos de un texto (identificados con las letras de la A a la F) y
se presentan diez títulos (del 1 al 10). Deberá relacionar cada uno de los títulos con uno de los extractos. Deberá
elegir la respuesta correcta rodeando con un círculo la letra de su opción en la HOJA DE RESPUESTAS. Sólo hay
una opción correcta para cada título y se puede utilizar el mismo extracto varias veces.

Preguntas o frases incompletas, seguidas de una serie de respuestas posibles o de frases que las completan. En

Dispone de 45 minutos para responder todas las preguntas de los ejercicios que componen la prueba.
Utilice únicamente bolígrafo azul o negro y asegúrese de que su teléfono móvil y dispositivos electrónicos estén
desconectados durante toda la prueba.
Trabaje concentradamente, no hable ni se levante de la silla. Si tiene alguna duda, levante la mano y espere en
silencio a que el/la profesor/a se acerque a su mesa. Espere a que le indiquen que PUEDE EMPEZAR.

EJERCICIO 1
THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE
Adapted from the book by Sue Townsend
Read the following diary extracts and match the correct extract (A-F) with the headings at
the bottom (1-10). Some of the diary extracts can be used several times.
DON’T FORGET TO TRANSFER ALL YOUR ANSWERS TO THE ANSWER SHEET.
A. January 1st
These are my New Year’s resolutions:

I will help old people to cross the road

I will be nice to the dog

I will help the poor
I can’t open my eyes today. It’s because my mother was singing loudly at 2 am. I think my parents
are alcoholics. The dog broke the model ship that my father spent three months building. He was
really angry.
B. January 2nd
My father is ill. The dog escaped and I broke the radio. Today was not a good day. I found a word
in my dictionary to describe my father. Hypochondriac! He’s in bed. We found the dog.
C. January 3rd
Now my mother and the dog are ill too. I have decided not to be a doctor. Mr Lucas from next door
visited my parents. He gave my mother flowers.
D. January 4th
The dog had an operation. The vet showed me a lot of horrible things in a plastic bag that were
inside the dog. There were some plastic pirates from my father’s model ship. My father is back at
work. Thank God!
E. January 5th
There is a new girl in our school. She sits next to me in Geography. Her name is Pandora, but she
likes to be called Box, I don’t know why. My father discovered the radio. I told him the dog broke it.
F. January 6th
I sat next to Pandora today. I told her that her eyes were the same colour as my dog’s eyes. She
moved to a different table. I remembered my promise to help the poor, so I took some old comic
books to a poor family in our street. A boy opened the door and said, “I’ve read them!” and shut the
door in my face.
