Approved Service Changes Route 27 Midvale Park Route 27, Midvale Park, operates north-south via Santa Clara Avenue, Midvale Park Road, and Cardinal Avenue and east-west via Valencia and Drexel roads between Roy P. Laos Transit Center (LTC) and the Casino Del Sol Park & Ride. The current frequency is 30-minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with 15-minute frequency during morning and afternoon peak hours. Recommendation (from Comprehensive Operational Analysis, January 2014): Based on passenger boardings from data collected and low ridership, it is recommended to restructure the route service levels to reflect market demand, removing the additional frequency during peak service. The revised frequency would be 30-minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The recommendation will improve the route productivity resulting in a lower subsidy per passenger boarding. This frequency service change is considered a major service change. A Title VI analysis has been completed and a Public Hearing is required to implement the service change.
