LIMITED LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
(in Spanish, on reverse)
I understand and agree to the following:
1. I understand that I am meeting with a volunteer attorney recruited by the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Pro Bono Clinic for a one time consultation about
my immigration status and/or citizenship and for referral of my case to an attorney, if it
appears that I require legal services.
2. There is no cost for this meeting.
3. The services that I will receive today at the AILA Pro Bono Clinic will be limited to advice
and information regarding questions about my immigration status based on information that I
provide during the meeting.
4. These services will be limited to the consultation at today’s clinic and will conclude upon the
completion of this meeting. Neither AILA nor the pro bono attorney(s) assisting me today
are agreeing to represent me in any capacity and are not responsible for any information
advice or assistance that I have obtained in the past or will obtain in the future.
5. I agree to provide complete and truthful information to the pro bono attorney(s) who are
assisting me. I understand that this information is confidential to the full extent permitted by
the law and required by lawyers’ ethical rules.
6. If I have any further questions about my immigration status or any other legal issues
discussed today, but am not referred to an AILA attorney for a follow-up consultation, I
should consult an attorney on my own. I understand that I will not be able to follow up with
AILA or with the specific volunteer attorney(s) with whom I meet today.
7. If, in the discretion of AILA, I am given a referral to a specific list of attorneys for further
assistance, I must follow-up with one of those attorneys on my own. I will receive one free
follow-up consultation with an attorney from that list for further analysis of my situation. Any
future services beyond the one free follow-up consultation with that attorney will be directly
negotiated with that attorney.

ACUERDO DE SERVICIOS LEGALES LIMITADOS
Yo entiendo y estoy de acuerdo con lo siguiente:
1. Yo entiendo que me estoy reuniendo con un abogado voluntario contratado por el
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Clínica Pro Bono para una
consulta de una sola vez sobre mí estado de inmigración o ciudadanía y para la
referencia de mi caso a un abogado, si se considera que necesito los servicios
jurídicos.
2. No hay ningún costo para esta reunión.
3. Los servicios que yo recibiré hoy en la Clínica Pro Bono de AILA se limitará al
asesoramiento e información sobre preguntas acerca de mi estado de inmigración
basada en la información que yo proporcione durante la reunión.
4. Estos servicios se limitaran a la consulta en la clínica de hoy y concluirá al término de
esta reunión. Ni AILA ni el abogado pro bono (s) asistiéndome el día de hoy están de
acuerdo que me representaran en cualquier calidad, y no son responsables por
cualquier información o asesoría de asistencia que he obtenido en el pasado o que
obtengan en el futuro.
5. Estoy de acuerdo que proporcione información completa y verdadera al abogado pro
bono (s) que me están ayudando. Entiendo que esta información es confidencial en la
medida permitida por la ley y exigido por las normas de abogados éticos.
6. Si tengo alguna duda acerca de mi estado de inmigración o cualquier otra cuestión
jurídica discutido hoy, pero no estoy referido a un abogado de AILA para una
consulta seguimiento, debería consultar con un abogado por mi cuenta. Entiendo que
no será posible seguir con AILA o con el abogado voluntario específico (s) que veo
hoy.
7. Si, a discreción de AILA, se me da una referencia a una lista específica de abogados
para obtener más ayuda, debo seguir con uno de los abogados por mi cuenta. Voy a
recibir una consulta gratis de seguimiento con un abogado de esa lista para más
análisis de mi situación. Cualquier servicio en el futuro más allá de la consulta gratis
de seguimiento con el abogado será negociado directamente con ese abogado.
