I am Alison Kimberly Fernandez, born on November

I am Alison Kimberly Fernandez, born on November 20, 1994 in
Leticia Amazons. Really my life has not been so rosy, but I’ve learned
a lot. I am from a very poor family. Actually t is very difficult to write
about my childhood because it was very difficult. In my family I have
5 siblings which are: Gary Minuta is 18 years old and right now is not
studying but working to help my mom with the rent, Jose Luis
Fernandez is 16 years old and he is studying and working part time
doing crafts, Aida Fernandez is 15 and she is studying (does not live
with my mom at a young age), Alexander Red is 13 years and he is
studying (also does not live with my mom, lives with dad). Also I have
my mom Manuela Fernandez who works selling empanadas on the
street. My brothers and I are not brothers of the same father, but I
have learned to love them. I have grown up without knowing what it is to have an earthly dad, but still God has taught me
to love my family and know that I have the world's best Dad in Him. The rented house where we live now is wooden and
not very good for my family. Recently there was a problem where the roof of the house fell silent with ventaron, we do
not have much money to find somewhere better to live. The house where we live is one small room, my mom divides into
three areas with thin plastic sheets for walls; a kitchen and two bedrooms and the bathroom is shared with the other
neighbors. In my family we eat very well when there is enough money, often eating only rice touches us with egg, or just
rice and lentils or sometimes nothing because we have no money.
Before meeting Quiver had a number of problems with my life, I was a bad girl, was not well in school, could not read,
confused many words, and the worst did not come to school to be with my friends or to seek not good money by other
means. My mom never study because my grandfather said that the study is only for men, so my mom did not call me a lot
in my studies.
Life after La Aljaba got me: I found about Aljaba through music, through friends. At that
time I was 11 and studying at a music school called Batuta. One day the director invited me
to meet someone from Aljaba. After I finished my kind of music and they took me there.
When I arrived I saw many children playing, running everywhere and I liked it. I was
introduced to Sister Lucy Palma and I received a donation of clothes, food and a series of
teachings of the Bible that I loved. For the first two weeks I attended as external and then
Sister Lucy asked me one day if I would like to live at Aljaba and I accept. They called my
mom and I enrolled. From that moment everything was different.
When I entered Aljaba my life completely changed. I
had my first bed, I was eating three meals a day and
snacks every day. I met JESUS and now he's my best
friend. I remember when I got my first Bible, was the
best time of my life because God knew the desire of
my heart to know more. At Aljaba I had great friends.
I learned to establish good friends and are friends who
will be there to help when I need it. I had people who
were cared about my progress in all areas and helped
me get stronger and be a better person every day. My grades began to improve and
occupied the top positions in the school. The way I dress, the way I speak up, even
the way I walk. Now I'm a totally different person.
God used Aljaba to restore me. Before knowing Jesus it was different. I can now sit
back and remember everything I've accomplished through Him, because He loves
me so much and has put people in my way to bless me. I can say that my life without
God would not be the same, thank God, I could finish my schooling successfully with
honors and now I hope to go to college. Everything has been a process and God has
been my way because He has the best purpose for us.
Mi historia
Soy Alison Kimberly Fernandez nací el 20 de noviembre del 1994 en Leticia amazonas; realmente mi vida no es como color
de rosas, pero de ella he aprendido mucho. Yo soy de una familia humilde, es muy difícil de redactor mi niñez porque fue
muy complicado, en mi familia somos 5 hermanos las cuales son Gary minuta, tiene 18 años, en estos momentos no está
estudiando para poder ayudar a mi mama con el arriendo, José Luis fernandez, tiene 16 años, él está estudia y trabaja
medio tiempo haciendo artesanías, Aida fernandez, tiene 15 años, ella está estudiando (no vive con mi mamá desde muy
pequeña), Alexander rojas, tiene 13 años él está estudiando (no vive con mi mamá, vive con el papá) y mi mamá Manuela
Fernandez, trabaja vendiendo empanadas en la calle, mis hermanos y yo no somos hermanos del mismo papá, pero he
aprendido a amarlos, así que he crecido sin saber que es tener un papá terrenal pero aun así Dios me ha enseñado amar
a mi familia y saber que tengo el mejor papá del mundo que es él. La casa donde vivimos ahora, es arrendada, es de
madera y no muy buena para mi familia, hace poco sufrimos un accidente donde el techo de la casa se calló con un
ventaron, nosotros no tenemos mucho dinero para buscar algo mejor para vivir. La casa donde vivimos es un solo cuarto
pequeño, mi mama lo divide en tres con plástico, para la cocina y dos cuartos y el baño es compartido con los otros vecinos.
En mi familia comemos muy bien cuando hay suficiente dinero, muchas veces nos toca comer solo arroz con huevo, o solo
arroz y lentejas o a veces nada.
Antes de conocer la aljaba tuve una serie de problemas con mi vida, yo era una niña mala, no estaba bien en la escuela,
no sabía leer, confundía muchas palabras, y lo peor no entraba a clases por estar con mis amigos o por buscar dinero por
otros medios no buenos. Mi mamá nunca estudio porque mi abuelo decía que el estudio solo es para los hombres, así que
mi mama no me exigía mucho en mis estudios.
La aljaba
Conocí la aljaba por medio de la música, gracias a unos amigos; en ese tiempo yo tenía 11 años y estudiaba en batuta, un
día la directora me invito a conocer la aljaba, termine mi clase de música y me llevaron, cuando llegue vi muchos niños
jugando, corriendo por todos lados y me gusto. Me presentaron a la hermana Lucy y me dieron una donación de ropa,
alimento y unas series de enseñanzas de la biblia que me encanto; paso una o dos semanas asistiendo como externa y la
hermana Lucy me pregunto un día si me gustaría vivir en la aljaba y yo acepte, desde ese momento, todo fue diferente,
llamaron a mi mama y me matricularon.
Cuando entré a la aljaba, mi vida cambio totalmente, tuve mi primera cama, comía los tres alimentos al día y refrigerio
todos los días, conocí de JESUS y ahora él es mi mejor amigo, recuerdo cuando me dieron mi primera biblia, fue el mejor
momento de mi vida porque Dios sabía el deseo de mi corazón de conocerlo más, en la aljaba tuve grandes amigos, aprendí
a establecer buenas amistades y son amistades que van a estar ahí para ayudarte cucando lo necesite, tuve personas que
estaban pendientes de mi proceso en todas las áreas y me ayudaron a fortalecerme y ser una mejor persona cada día, mis
calificaciones empezaron a mejorar y ocupaba los primeros puestos en la escuela. Mi forma de vestir, hablar hasta de
caminar cambio, ahora soy una persona totalmente diferente.
Dios usó la aljaba para restaurarme, antes de conocer de Jesús todo era diferente y ahora puede sentarme y recordar todo
lo que he logrado gracias a él, porque él me ama tanto que ha puesto personas en mi camino para bendecirme, puedo
decir que mi vida sin Dios no sería igual, gracias a Dios, he podido culminar mi ballicherato con éxito y honores ahora voy
con la universidad, todo ha sido un proceso y Dios ha estado en todo mi camino porque él tiene el mejor propósito para
nosotros.
