ACCEPTABLE COMPUTER SYSTEM USE AGREEMENT

As a part of my schoolwork, my school gives me the use of the computer system to help me learn.
When I use it, I will follow the same rules as I do in my class and in my school; and I will also follow these
rules:
1. I will follow all of my teachers’ directions when working on the computer.
2. I will only use the computers to do school work, and not for any other reason.
3. I will not give my password to anyone else, and I will not ask for or use anyone else’s password.
4. I will not try to see or send anything that says or shows bad or mean things about anyone.
5. I will not damage the computer.

I have read the Acceptable Computer System Use Agreement as summarized here and as fully outlined
in the divisions Acceptable Computer System Use Agreement, Policy IIBEA, available on the district
website, and I understand that access to the computer system is intended for education purposes. I
understand that computer system access is conditional upon adherence to the agreement. Although
WPS has taken precautions to eliminate inappropriate material, and students are supervised using
computers, and their use is electronically monitored, I am aware of the possibility that my child may
gain access to material that may not be considered to be of educational value in the context of the
school setting, or that may be harmful or disruptive. Because information on the computer network can
be transitory and diverse, the district cannot completely predict or control what users may or may not
locate. I have read, understood, and discussed the terms of this agreement and policy with my student.
I give permission for his or her use of the electronic resources available on the computer system.

ACUERDO DEL USO ACEPTABLE DEL SISTEMA INFORMÁTICO

Como parte de mi trabajo escolar, mi escuela me permite utilizar el Sistema Informático para ayudarme
a aprender. Cuando lo utilice, seguiré las mismas reglas que sigo en mi salón de clases y en mi escuela; y
también seguiré las siguientes reglas:
1. Seguiré todas las instrucciones que me den mis maestros cuando trabaje con la computadora.
2. Sólo utilizaré las computadoras para hacer trabajo escolar y no por otra razón.
3. No le daré mi contraseña a nadie y no le voy a pedir a nadie su contraseña.
4. No voy a enviar ni ver nada que muestre o diga cosas malas sobre otra persona.
5. No voy a dañar la computadora.

He leído el Acuerdo del Uso Aceptable del Sistema Informático que se resume aquí y que se describe
plenamente en la Política de IIBEA del Acuerdo del Uso Aceptable del Sistema Informático de la División
Escolar, disponible en el sitio de internet del distrito y, entiendo que el acceso al Sistema Informático
está destinado a fines educativos. Yo entiendo que el acceso al Sistema Informático está condicionado a
la adhesión al acuerdo. Aunque WPS ha tomado precauciones para eliminar material inapropiado y que
los estudiantes que usan las computadoras son supervisados y, que su uso se controla
electrónicamente, soy consciente de la posibilidad de que mi hijo/a puede tener acceso a material que
no sea considerado de valor educativo en el contexto del entorno escolar, o que puede ser dañino o
perjudicial. Dado a que la información en la red puede ser transitoria y diversa, el distrito no puede
predecir o controlar lo que los usuarios pueden o no pueden localizar. He leído, entendido y analizado
los términos y la política de este acuerdo con mi estudiante. Doy permiso para que utilice los recursos
electrónicos disponibles en el Sistema Informático.
