Man is charged with biting woman

A domestic dispute turned bloody after a man bit his girlfriend's ear and neck, then was stabbed
after she defended herself Wednesday, according to a Bradenton Police report.
John Algy Seavey, 44, of the 1800 block of 14th Street West, was charged Wednesday
with aggravated battery, according to the report.
While arguing with his girlfriend, Seavey began biting her right ear and neck, opening
extensive wounds in both areas that then bled profusely, the report said.
The girlfriend told police she then used a knife to stab Seavey in the arm to get away
from him.
Seavey initially told police he received the stab wound when someone tried to rob him.
However, the blood-stained knife was found in the back of the home.
Seavey later admitted that he did bite his girlfriend, according to the report.
