News published in connection with a potential transaction

GAMESA CORPORACIÓN TECNOLÓGICA, S.A. -SIGNIFICANT EVENT
As per section 228 of the restated text of the Securities Market Law
approved by the Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015, of 23 October (texto
refundido de la Ley del Mercado de Valores aprobado por el Real Decreto
Legislativo 4/2015, de 23 de octubre) and related provisions, we hereby
announce the following significant event:
Regarding the latest published news in relation to posible corporate transaction
between Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, S.A. (the “Company”) and Siemens AG,
the Company confirms that is holding conversations towards a potential integration of
some wind business of Siemens AG and the company through a merger structure.
As of the date hereof, no resolution has been approved nor has any agreement been
materialized in this regard.
