The Medford Historical Society is looking for young men and women involved
in volunteer work at the Society Headquarters. Greeters and tour guides are
needed the first Saturday of each month from 10:00-2:00 and every Sunday
from 12:00-4:00. During this time students would conduct tours if visitors
were present, complete light cleaning (dusting, sweeping, taking out trash,
cleaning the kitchen), or assist adult volunteers with research or clerical
duties.
All student volunteers need to be trained by the volunteer coordinator. The
training would take about 4 hours. The student would assume responsibility
for transportation to and from Society headquarters. Students can team up
with friends for al assigned duties. Students can even form groups of 4-6 for
volunteer work
