Concepto / Scope: Especificar un método general de ensayo, común a todos los artículos de
cama, para evaluar su facilidad de ignición bajo la acción de un cigarrillo encendido / This test
is intended to specify a general test method for all bedding items to assess ignitability by a
smouldering cigarette.
Equipo utilizado / Equipment used: Bastidor horizontal, Cronómetro, Cigarrillo, Anemómetro /
Horizontal frame, Chronometer, Cigarette, Anemometer.
Acondicionamiento de las probetas / Conditioning of the specimens: 72 h a / at 23±2ºC y /
and 50±4%hr
Colocación de la probeta y posición de la fuente de ignición / Position of the specimens and
the ignition source: ensayo realizado según apartado 11.3 de la propia norma / test performed
according to part 11.3 to the same standard.
