Sierra Espuña has 25,000 hectares including the
mountain range. In 1931 it was declared of cultural
interest, and in 1992 was protected as a Regional Park.
It is a protection area for birds and site of community
importance.
The area includes mountains, forests, ravines, streams,
fountains and crops.
After a short walking trail in the park, we will enjoy a
barbecue and paella in a rural house in the heart of
Sierra Espuña.
Sierra Espuña posee 25.000 hectáreas contando con el
conjunto montañoso. En el año 1931 fue declarada de
interés cultural, y en el año 1992 fue protegida como
Parque Regional. También está catalogada como zona de
especial protección para las aves y lugar de importancia
comunitaria.
Entre sus ambientes destacan los bosques, los barrancos,
arroyos y fuentes, la cumbre, y los cultivos.
Tras un breve sendero para conocer este parque natural,
disfrutaremos de una barbacoa y una paella dentro de
una casa rural en pleno corazón de Sierra Espuña.
