ARE IN AGREEMENT
I.-
That by their nature and objectives the University of Granada and the University
of...............,signatory to this agreement should assume a fundamental role in promoting union
between both institutionsr

That the exchange of cultural, scientific and techdcal knowledge and experience between
staff, students and administrative personnel will be of benefit to the academic and cultural
development ol both institutions;
That both the University of ............ and the University of Granada have the same academic,
scientific and cultural objectives a:'rd mutual fields of interest;

IV.- That both institutions are interested in tightening cultural and scientific relations

THEREFORE, have agreed to solidify a collaboration agreement based on the following
CLAUSES
FIRST.- The signatories shall develop academic, scientific and cultural relationships betweer.r

information concerning specialist studies, academic cunicula and timetables. Periodically each
institution shall provide the other with information concerning any research proiects of mutual
interest in which they may be involvdd.
SECOND.- The signatories shall encourage the exchange of teaching stafl and research workers
at the
between both instiiutions by providing facilities for members of one institr-tion to teach
other for specific periods of time.
Financing lrom the University of Granada for this project would be through official
contests held to that effect as well as official contests lrom the University of Granada.

THIRD.- Each institution shall provide visiting lectures, research workers, postgraduate students
and doctorate students with facilities equivalent to those given to members ol that institution,
them appropriate access 10 their acadenric, scientific and cultural services and accepting
allorving-carried
out at that institution as having equal merit to studies caried out by its own
studies
members, within the framework of its own current national legislation and relevant agreements
developed by both institutions.
FOURTH.- Each institution shall facilitate the joint publication of books, and the inclusion of
specialist works flom the other institution in its own journals, providing they meet the
regulations ul'Lhe joumal in question.
FIFTH.- Meetings shall take place periodically between lecturers and research workers from

both institutions witliin similar areas ol specialisation in order to exchange their experiences
knowledge as well as to help their co-operation ir.r joint research projects'
SIXTH.- In order to put this co-operation agreenent into effect, the signatories shall name a
Joint Committee, formed by members ftom each institution, to establish the details of specific
programmes, in accordance to the Statutes and economic constraints of each institution. This
joinl cornmittee should oversee the implementation and possible improvement of the agreement.

SEVENTH.- The terms olthis agreement may be rnodified by mutual consent upon the reqr.rest

EIGHTH.- The conditions of this agreement shall enter into effect from the date of signing by
both parties and shall be valid for two years. It shall thenceforlh be automatically renewable for
another similar period unless one party should notify the other in writing its desire to terminate
the agreement ai least three months belore tl-re end olthe current period of its validity.
NINTH.- Both parlies agree to ca y to conclr-rsion any commitments acquired under the terms of
this agreement which may be outstanding upon its expiry.
The representatives of both institutions sign two equally valid copies of this covenant and affix
their seal to them at the place ald on the date ut supra.

de que puedan intetcambiar sus expenencias y conocimientos, asi como para facilitar su
coJaboraci6n en proyectos comunes.
SEXTA.- Con objeto de poder llevar a cabo este proglama de colaboraci6n, ambas
Instinrciones nombrarin una Comisi6n Con]unta rntegrada por dos representafltes de
cada Instituci6n, que establecerin los programas coflcretos, de acuerdo con los
Estatutos y posibrlrdades econ6micas de cada una, y que vigile su puesta en pr6ctica, asi
como su posible mejora.
Para cada iniciativa concreta, la Comisi6n
expresamente un acuerdo especifico
en el que se detalle la actividad a rea\izar,^prcbarr|
personas e instituciones impJicadas, medios
y financiaci6n. Estos acuerdos fornariin parte del presente
Convenio Marco como anexos de 6ste, y deberln formalizarse con ufla antelaci6n
