TO REPLACE A LOST FILLING:
(8-15 below)
Temporary Filling Mix
1. Wash hands and dry thoroughly.
2. Open packet carefully and pour ALL THE POWDER into the
clear plastic tray (Diagram 2). Using the wooden spatula form
powder into a small pile.
3. TO OPEN TUBE: Push down on cap hard until it clicks. This
will puncture a hole in the tube. Remove cap and squeeze
about 1/2 of the liquid from the tube onto the pile of powder
(Diagram 3).
4. Use the wooden spatula to thoroughly mix contents together
until a creamy, putty-like consistency is achieved. If the mixture
is too dry, add additional liquid from the tube, drop by drop,
with mixing to obtain the proper consistency. The mixture is at
the proper consistency when it becomes only slightly tacky
and you can easily roll it into a ball between your fingers
without it sticking to your fingers. If mixture is at proper
consistency, go to step 8 or 16. If any liquid remains, place cap
back on tube firmly and discard. DO NOT SAVE. Try to get all
the powder into the mixture.
5. If mixture becomes too loose, use wooden spatula to form
material into a single mass and transfer it onto a clean paper
towel or napkin.
6. Dry mixture by pressing FIRMLY between dry sections of
paper towel or napkin (Diagram 6). This
procedure may have to be repeated
several times (possibly up to 10-12
times), each time using a dry section of
towel or napkin. Remember, the
mixture is at the proper consistency
when it becomes only SLIGHTLY
TACKY and you can easily roll it into a ball between your fingers
without it sticking to your fingers. Do not overdry.
7. Repeat step 6 as necessary until the material reaches the
proper consistency. Do not use Dentemp in your mouth until it
is dry enough
8. When mixture is ready, rinse out cavity
area carefully with warm water.
9. Dry cavity area with cotton.
10.Form a small amount of mixture into a ball
(Diagram 10).
11. Press ball firmly into cavity area (Diagram 11).
12. Bite down several times to insure proper bite.
13. Remove any excess material. Rinse out mouth well
with water.
14. Allow 60 minutes to set before eating.
15. This product is for temporary use only. Consult your
dentist as soon as possible.
TO RE-CEMENT CROWNS WHICH HAVE FALLEN
OUT (16-22 below):
16. When mixture is ready, carefully rinse tooth area and
inside of crown with water and dry thoroughly with cotton.
17. Place a small amount of mixture along the
upper inside of wall of crown (Diagram 17).
18. Place crown on tooth and press firmly for
several minutes.
19. Bite down several times to insure proper
bite.
20. Remove any excess material. rinse out
mouth well with water.
21. Allow 60 minutes to set before eating.
22. This product is for temporary use only. Consult your
dentist as soon as possible.
Note 1: When replacing a bridge apply Dentemp sparingly to
only one hollow tooth at each end of the bridge. Dentemp
should not be used on implants.
Note 2: A variation in the color of the liquid in the tube from
one tube to another does not affect the way the product will
work.

CAUTION: Do not use if you are allergic to Eugenol. If burning sensation occurs, remove Dentemp material from mouth and
rinse affected areas with vegetable oil. This product should not be used if throbbing pain or swelling in affected area exists.

possible for permanent work to be performed. Failure to do so may cause infections and/or serious injury.

(pasos 8-15)

9. Seque el área de la carie con algodon.

10. Forme una pequeña cantidad de la mezcla en una pelota

2. Abra el paquete cuidadosamente y eche TODO EL POLVO
dentro del envase plástico transparente. Usando la espátula de
madera, forme el polvo en una pila pequeña (Diagrama 2).

3. PARA ABRIR EL TUBO: Presione sobre la tapa hasta que
eschuche un chasquido. Asi se perforará un agujero en el tubo.
Quite la tapa y exprima la mitad del contenido del tubo arriba de
la pila de polvo (Diagrama 3).
4. Usando la espátula de madera, mezcle los contenidos hasta
que obtenga una consistencia cremosa similar a la masilla. Si la
mezcla esta muy seca, exprima el liquido adicional del tubo, gota
por gota, y siga mezclando hasta que obtenga la consistencia
correcta. La mezcla esta a su propria consistencia cuando sólo
esté ligeramente pegajosa y la pueda formar facilmente en
una pelota con los dedos sin que se adhiera a los dedos. Si la
mezcla esta a su propia consistencia refierase a los pasos 8 o 16.
Si le queda algun liquido, ponga la tapa firmemente en el tubo y
desechelo. NO LO GUARDE. Procure utilizar todo el polvo en la
mezcla.
5. Si la mezcla se licua demasiado, use la espátula de madera y
forme el polvo en una sola masa y transfiéralo sobre una toalla o
servilleta de papel limpio.
6. Seque la mezcla, presionándola FIRMEMENTE ENTRE
secciones secas de la toalla de papel o servilleta (Diagrama 6). Es
posible que tenga que repetir varias
veces este procedimiento (incluso 10 a
12 veces), usando cada vez una sección
seca de toalla o servilleta. La mezcla ha
alcanzado la consistencia apropiada
cuando sólo esté ligeramente pegajosa y
la puede formar facilmente en una pelota
con los dedos sin que se adhiera a los dedos. No lo sece mucho.
7. Repita el paso 6 segun sea necesario hasta que el material
tenga la consistencia apropiada. No use Dentemp en la boca
hasta que se haya secado lo suficiente.

11. Presione la pelota firmemente dentro del área de la carie
(Diagrama 11).
12. Muerda varias veces para asegurar una mordedura
apropiada.
13. QUITE CUALQUIER EXCESO DE MATERIAL
ENJUAGUE BIEN LA BOCA CON AGUA.
14. Deje pasar 60 minutos para que se solidifique antes de
comer.
15. Este producto es para uso temporario solamente. Consulte
con su dentista lo mas pronto posible.
PARA CEMENTAR DE NUEVO LAS CORONAS
CAIDAS (pasos 16-22):
16. Cuando la mezcla este preparada, enjuage cuidadosamente
el área del diente y el interior de la corona con agua y séquelo
cuidadosamente con algódon.
17. Ponga una pequeña cantidad de mezcla
sobre la pared interior alta de la corona
(Diagrama 17).
18. Coloque la corona sobre el diente y
presione firmemente hacia abajo durante varios
minutos.
19. Muerda varias veces para asegurar una
mordedura apropiada.
20. Quite cualquier exceso de material y enjuague bien la
boca con agua.
21. Deje pasar 60 minutos para que se solidifique antes de
comer.
22. Este producto es para uso temporario solamente. Consulte
con su dentista lo mas pronto posible.
Nota 1: Para reemplazar un puente, sólo aplique una pequeña cantidad de
Dentemp en un diente hueco de cada extremo del puente. Dentemp no se debe
usar en los implantes.
Nota 2: Una variación en el color del liquido del tubo, entre un tubo y otro no
afecta la manera en que funcionará el producto.
