The Church of St. Clement of
El Paso is offering classes
to individuals wanting to learn or
improve their English speaking,
reading and writing skills.
The cost is $40 per student.
LEVELS
Our ESL school is called The
English Speaking Center and
offers several levels of English learning
from Beginning to Advanced.
The English Speaking Center
(ESC) is staffed by dedicated
volunteer teachers from the Church of
St. Clement and from throughout our
community. The Church funds and
supports this Ministry.
The ESC offers open enrollment. You may
register any time during the year, but you
are expected to make attendance
a priority.

CURRICULUM
Teaching materials will vary depending on
the class level. There is a strong focus on
developing conversational skills and
pronunciation and you will be able to
develop and increase your vocabulary in
English. Reading and writing are also an
important part of the program and you will
develop an understanding of American
culture, history and traditions.
SCHEDULE
English classes are offered from September
7, 2016 until May 10, 2017, following the
schedule of the El Paso Public Schools and
the church holidays. Registration will be
Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 9:00 to
11:00 am.
The classes meet each week on Monday and
Wednesday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00 am
in the basement of the church.

La Iglesia de St. Clement de El Paso ofrece
clases para los que deseen aprender o mejorar
su uso del inglés. Inscríbase el miércoles, 31
de agosto, de 2016, de 9 a 11 am.
Nuestra escuela ofrece varios niveles de
aprendizaje en inglés desde principiante hasta
avanzado. El costo a los estudiantes son $40
para pagar materiales.
