LA FEDERACIÓN DE CÁMARAS DE COMERCIO E INDUSTRIA
DE LOS EAU (FCCI)
SOBRE
EL ESTABLECIMIENTO DEL
COMITÉ COMERCIAL MIXTO DE LOS EAU y LA REPúBLICA
ARGENTINA

La Unión Industrial Argentina (UIA) y la Federación de Cámaras de Comercio e
Industria de los EAU (FCCI)
En lo sucesivo denominadas individualmente la "Parte" y colectivamente las "Partes",
Teniendo en cuenta la legislación y reglamentación vigentes en la República Argentina
y en los EAU Ylos acuerdos y entendimientos existentes entre ambos países,
Manifestando su voluntad común y acuerdo para dar una mayor eficacia y profundidad
a las relaciones económicas entre la República Argentina y los EA U;
Han convenido lo siguiente:
Artículo 1
Se establece el Comité Comercial Mixto de los EA U y la República Argentina (en lo
sucesivo denominado "CCM E-A") con el objetivo de fomentar y facilitar las acciones
conducentes a la promoción de la cooperación en materia de comercio, de inversión, de
servicios, y de todos los secto res industriales entre las comunidades de negocios de
ambos países.
Artículo 2
Los objetivos del CCM E-A serán los siguientes:
1. Fomentar relaciones de amistad más
cercanas y promover relac iones
económicas, comerciales y de inversión más estrechas entre la República
Argentina y los EAU;
2. Promover un entendimiento más amplio y más profundo entre los sectores
privados de la República Argentina y de los EAU en materia de política
económica, comercial y de inversión de ambos países.

3. Proporcionar a los gobiernos de la República Argentina y de los EAU, según sea
necesario, asesoramiento, propuestas y recomendaciones sobre los objetivos I y
2 que anteceden.
Artículo 3
La membresía del CCM E-A asegurará una representación eficaz de las empresas y
organizaciones de industrias clave; las Partes revisarán continuamente su representac ión
para mejorar sus capacidades de desempeño con miras a los objetivos del CCM E-A.
Artículo 4
La membresía en el CCM E-A estará sujeta al respectivo Presidente de cada Parte y a un
límite de 14 miembros de cada Parte, que representarán a todos los sectores de la
industria y el comercio en pos de los objetivos anteriormente establecidos .
Artículo 5
El CCM E-A se reunirá al menos una vez al año (la reunión se podrá desarrollar
mediante canales virtuales y manteniendo contacto permanente a través de correo
electrónico y teléfono); la sede de la reunión alternará entre los EAU y la República
Argentina, salvo pacto en contrario. Los gastos de la Parte anfitriona por la organización
de la reunión conjunta correrán por cuenta de la Parte promotora, en tanto que los
representantes visitantes cubrirán sus propios gastos de traslado y alojamiento. Como
regla general, cada Parte cubrirá sus propios gastos.
Artículo 6
Las rewuones del CCM E-A serán presididas por los Copresidentes. Cada Parte
designará su respectivo Presidente, Secretario/Coordinador, y hasta un máximo de 14
miembros. Los Secretarios facilitarán las actividades del CCM E-A y determinarán los
requisitos de procedimiento en las reuniones, según sus necesidades.

Artículo 7
Las Partes intercambiarán periódicamente la informaci ón y las publicaciones que se
encuentren disponibles en materia de comercio exterior e industria, ofertas de
producción y exportación de sus respectivas empresas, y tendencias de inversión y de
los mercados. Asimismo, las Partes intercambiarán informaci ón relativa a la legislación
en materia económica y comercial promulgada y vigente en sus jurisdiccio nes.
Artículo 8
El presente Memorándum entrará en vigor en la fecha de su firma por ambas Partes y
tendrá vigencia por un plazo de cinco años, a menos que cualquiera de las Partes lo
termine antes del vencimiento de dicho plazo mediante notificación escrita a la otra con
noventa (90) días de antelación.
Firmado en Buenos Aires el 5 de febrero de 20 I ó" en dos originales en tres idiomas,
siendo la versión en inglés el prevaleciente.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN
ARGENTINE INDUSTRIAL UNION (UIA)
AND
THE FEDERATION OF UAE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY
(FCCI)
ON
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ARGENTINA - UAE
JOINT BUSINESS COUNCIL
The Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) and the Federation of UAE Chamber of
Commeree & Industry (FCCI)
Hereinafter referred to individuaIly as the "Party" and eoIlectiveIy as the "Parties",
Having regard to the laws and regulations of Argentina and UAE and the
agreements and understandings existing between the two countries,
Whereas the Parties jointly declare and agree to bring greater effieacy and depth to
the eeonomic relations between Argentina and UAE,
NOW, THEREFORE, hereby agree as foIlows:
Artiele 1
Argentina and UAE Joint Business Couneil (hereinafter referred to as "AUJBC" is
hereby established with a view to eneouraging and faeilitating actions leading both
business eommunities to promote eooperation in trade, investment, serviees and
all industrial sectors between the two eountries.
Artiele 2
The objectives ofthe AUJBC are as foIlows:
1. To foster closer friendship and promote closer economíc, trade and
investment relations between Argentina and UAE,
2. To promote a greater span and depth of understanding between the private
seetors of Argentina and UAE on econorníc, trade and investment policies of
both eountries.
3. To present to the governments of Argentina and UAE, as and when needed,
advíce, proposals and recommendations on objective 1 and 2 herein aboye.

Artiele 3
The membership of the AUJBC, shall ref1ect an efficacious representation of
companies and organizations from the key industries; the Parties shall
continuously review its representation to enhance its capability to yield
deliverables towards the objectives ofthe AUJBC.
Artiele 4
The membership in the AUJBC shall be subject to the respective Chairmen on each
side and limited to 14 members on either side representing all sectors of industry
and business in support ofthe objectives described aboye.
Artiele 5
The AUJBC meetings shall be convened at least once ayear; and (might be made by
virtual channels and permanent contact via mail and telephone) . The meetings are
to be rotated between Argentina and UAE, unless otherwise agreed. The expenses
for hosting the joint meeting shall be borne by the sponsoring side while the
expenses for travel and accommodation of the visiting representatives shall be
borne by themselves. In general, each side shall carry their own expenses.
Artiele 6
The AUJBC meetings shall be presided by [oint Chairpersons. Each Party shall
designate its respective Chaírperson, SecretaryjCoordinator and up to 14
members. Secretaries shall facilitate the activities of the AUJBC and determine the
requirements on the proceedings of the meeting in accordance to its needs.

Artiele 7
The Parties shall carry out a regular exchange of publications and information
pertaining to foreign trade and industry, production and export offers of their
respective cornpaníes, investment and market trends. Also the Parties shall
exchange information related to economic and commerciallegislation promulgated
and applicable in their jurisdiction.
Artiele 8
This Memorandum shall become effective from the date of signature by both
Parties and remain in force for five years, unless terminated earlier by either Party
upon ninety (90) days written notice to the other Party.
Signed in Buenos Aires on 05/02/2016, in two original copies, in three languages,
being the English versíon the prevailing one.
