Your child is being graded according to the English Language
Proficiency Standards. The English Language Proficiency Standards
are for students that are learning English. Your child is being graded
on the grade level standards for the level of English that he/she
knows. His/Her class work has been accommodated to help him/her
learn English. The grades on this report card are based on his/her
academic performance on the State Standards for his/her level of
English.
