El Cachivachi anual, en beneficio de la Biblioteca de Monteverde, será este sábado 11 de junio a las 9:00 am, en la
Escuela. Los precios estarán muy cómodos. Si quiere realizar una donación pueden llamar a Jean Stuckey al
2645-5065 para coordinar la hora de la entrega. Se recibe cualquier artículo, siempre que este en buenas
condiciones.
Programa de Música, ¡Pronto!
La UCR ha asignado un profesor de música para venir a Monteverde cada semana para enseñar a jóvenes a tocar
instrumentos de viento (flauta, saxofón, clarinete, trompeta, etc.) La UCR paga el salario del profesor. Su plazo
empieza en julio. Todavía no sabemos detalles sobre lugar y horario, pero sabemos que las clases serán los viernes
después de las 2:00. Esto es para jóvenes de toda la zona de Monteverde, no solamente los de MFS. Chicos de
quinto grado para arriba que tienen interés pueden hablar con Carol. (Estoy en la escuela toda esta semana.) Les
invito a chicos y sus padres que tienen interés a una reunión corta en la escuela el jueves 9 de junio a las 4:00pm.

The annual Rummage Sale, to benefit the Monteverde Library, will be this Saturday 11th of June at 9:00am at the
School. The prices will be very affordable.
If you would like to make a donation, please call Jean Stuckey at 2645-5065. We will receive any donations that
are in good condition.
Music Program to begin soon!
The University of Costa Rica has assigned a music professor to come to Monteverde one day each week to teach
young people to play wind instruments (flute, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, etc.) The UCR pays the teacher's
salary so there will not be a charge for the lessons. We do not yet know the details of place and schedule, but we
have been told that the classes will be on Fridays after 2:00. This is for young people in the entire Monteverde
area, not just for MFS students. Students in fifth grade and up who are interested in playing an instrument should
talk to Carol. (I will be at school all this week.) Interested students and their parents are invited to come to a
meeting at the school at 4 PM this Thursday (June 9th.)
