- MIKE: Punto medio de la línea que une el extremo del muelle de la Villa de
Rota con el extremo del muelle de Poniente de la Base Naval.

- PAPA: Sobre la playa, en las proximidades de la central térmica de la Base.

- ROMEO: 200 m al sur del Cortijo de la Atalaya (edificio cuadrangular de
color rojo) situado aproximadamente a 500 m al sur de la colina de Cabezas
y a 500 m a poniente del punto kilométrico 3 de la carretera de
El Puerto de Santa María a Sanlúcar de Barrameda. (363652N 0061504W)
LLEGADAS
- Los helicópteros en vuelo VFR con destino a la Base Naval de Rota, antes
de alcanzar la zona de control de aeródromo, establecerán enlace radio
con la TWR, la que informará y dará instrucciones para dirigirse a los puntos ROMEO o MIKE.
- Antes de alcanzar los puntos ROMEO y MIKE, y previa autorización de la
TWR solicitarán entrada por el corredor de LEVANTE manteniendo 700 ft
MSL, o corredor SUR manteniendo 800 ft MSL.
- Notificarán los puntos ROMEO y FOXTROT o MIKE y PAPA siguiendo instrucciones de TWR.
SALIDAS
- Los helicópteros solicitarán de la TWR corredor LEVANTE o SUR, y siguiendo las instrucciones ascenderán a 500 ft MSL, notificando vertical punto
ROMEO o MIKE.
- Notificarán a la TWR abandonando su zona de control.

with the end of the West jetty of the Naval Base.

ARRIVALS
- Helicopters in VFR bound for the Naval Base of Rota, before reaching the
aerodrome control area, will establish radio contact with TWR, that will
inform and give instructions to go to ROMEO or MIKE.
- Before reaching ROMEO and MIKE, and previous TWR clearance
will request entry by the LEVANTE corridor maintaining 700 ft MSL,
or SOUTH corridor maintaining 800 ft MSL.
- Will notify ROMEO and FOXTROT or MIKE and PAPA reporting points
following TWR instructions.
DEPARTURES
- Helicopters will request TWR, LEVANTE or SOUTH corridor, and
following instructions will ascend to 500 ft MSL, notifying vertical point
ROMEO or MIKE.
- They will notify TWR of leaving the control area.

COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE
– Las aeronaves en aproximación VFR a la B.N. de Rota con fallo de
comunicaciones, deberán poner el transpondedor en código SSR
7600, modo 3/A. Mantendrán condiciones VFR a 1000 ft desde el
punto SOUTH (Cádiz) al circuito de fallo de comunicaciones, manteniéndose al suroeste de la torre de control de la Base Naval de
Rota.
– Aircraft on VFR approach to N.B. Rota with communications failure, will aquawk code SSR 7600 on mode 3/A. They shall maintain
VFR conditions and proceed to 1000 ft from SOUTH point (Cádiz)
to the communications failure circuit maintaining at southwest of
Naval Base Rota tower.
– Una vez en circuito a 1000 ft, deberán esperar señales luminosas
de la TWR, para proceder al circuito visual y aterrizar. Ya en tierra
seguirá al vehículo “Sígame” que le conducirá hasta su aparcamiento.
– Once in the circuit at 1000 ft, aircraft shall expect light signals
from Rota TWR to proceed to aerodrome visual circuit and landing. Once in ground they will follow a vehicle “Follow me” guide
them until its parking.

– Plataformas, Servicio de Información Aeronáutica y Servicio de
Pistas, Lunes a Viernes 0730-1600 y hasta fin de vuelos programados.
– Aprons, Aeronautical Information Service and Runways Service,
Monday to Friday 0730-1600 and until the end of programmed
flights.
– Otras horas, PPR dentro del horario de servicio, o notificación previa con dos horas de antelación a la TWR.
– Other hours, PPR in the service time, or previous notification to
TWR with two hours in advance.
