Message from the Director
At ECE we are focused on Friendship this
month! Our students have been learning all
year about how to get along with others and
this month we will be teaching about the
concept of bucket filling. This is something
we can all support by praising our kids for
their efforts and all the good behaviors that
they do everyday. We will also have our
Kindergarten Transition Fair on Thursday,
February 19, 5-6:pm. If your child is going to
Kindergarten in August you should come talk
to representatives from Bishop, Charles Hay
World School, Cherrelyn, and Clayton
Elementary Schools.

Health News
February is dental month. Please contact
Kidstoothdoc if you have a child under the age of 18
who is not eligible for dental insurance or currently
has no dental insurance and has dental concerns.
Dentist will do as much dental work as they can or
repair the teeth that need immediate work.
Limited spots available and it is on a first come first
serve basis.
These appointments are not for dental cleanings but
for tooth/teeth repair. Contact the dental office at
303-974-5868 and schedule a consultation appt.

7 Super Things Parents can Do to support
Children’s Learning
1) Talk often with your children from the day
they are born.
2) Listen carefully as your children
communicate with you.
3) Read aloud to your children every day.
4) Ensure a safe, orderly and predictable
environment.
5) Set limits on their behavior and discipline
them calmly, not harshly.
6) Say “yes” and “I love you” as much as you
say “no” and “Don’t”
7) Hug them, hold them, and respond to their
needs and interests.

Aquí en ECE este mes estamos enfocados en
desarrollar habilidades para hacer amigos!
Nuestros estudiantes han estado aprendiendo
cómo llevarse bién con los demás y durante este
mes les estaremos hablando sobre el concepto
de Llenar Cubetas. Este es un concepto en el
que todos podemos apoyar premiando los
esfuerzos de nuestros niños y sus buenos
comportamientos de cada día. Durante este mes
nosotros también tendremos nuestra Feria de
Transisión al Kinder el Jueves,19 de Febrero, 56:pm. Si su niño/a va a asistir al Kínder en
Agosto, usted debería venir a hablar con los
representantes de las Escuelas Primarias de
Bishop, Charles Hay World School, Cherrelyn, y
Clayton durante este evento. Los esperamos!

Notas sobre Salud
Febrero es el mes de la Salud Dental. Por favor
llame a Kidstoothdoc si usted tiene un niño de
18 o menor que no tiene aseguranza dental, y
que tiene problemas dentales actualmente. Los
dentistas harán lo más que puedan sobre
reparaciones y trabajo dentales GRATIS el 27 de
Febrero. Este servicio tiene cupo limitado y se
atienden los pacientes a como van llamando.
Estas citas NO son para limpiezas dentales son
para reparación y trabajo dental necesario.
Llame a la oficina al 303-974-5868 para que haga
una cita para su hijo(s)lo más pronto posible.

7 Cosas geniales que los Padres pueden hacer
para apoyar el Aprendizaje de los Niños
1) Hable seguido con sus niños desde el
momento en que nacen.
2) Escuche cuidadosamente cuando su niño se
comunica con usted.
3) Léale a su niño en voz alta todos los días.
4) Asegure un ambiente, seguro, ordenado y
predecible.
5) Establezca límites en su comportamiento y
